But in short, Robin and Evan come home after a night of partying to find out another Evan was sent back from the future for a threesome, and then in the Epilogue it was revealed that at some point in the future, before future Evan got sent back in time, he had become a Heart Guardian. Future Evan has now shown up while in his female Heart Guardian form to help Robin and his past self out with explaining all this to Cassie.
