Added 2025-02-15 04:41:41 +0000 UTCI was seriously thinking about shutting down JCTekkSims completely. I have explained that my income comes from my cc creations, and I have only a 2 week early access for cc and 30 day for builds, but someone that is subscribed to me scrapes my posts for a site that shares content for paywallers. I literally don't make enough to even live off as I am disabled due to really bad health. And now I've lost nearly all of that income due to this person.
I understand the frustration with paywallers, but I am not one of them. Almost everything I have on here is free. I am now looking into different ways to post my paid content, Patreon offers no support to creators (in almost any way), so as soon as I figure that out, I will let you all know. Until then, I will resume posting here.

yeah i totally understand but dont leave maybe you can redirect us to your own personal page to verify membership or that may be alot lol or you can keep patreon and do password downloads i know other creators do that ,so that way you can keep track of who is downloading your cc.

That’s why I think it might help to focus on a more sustainable plan for the long run instead of putting all your energy into fighting something that's hard to control. I understand feeling stuck and frustrated, but if this isn’t working out the way you need it to, what’s the next step? There are plenty of other online opportunities beyond Patreon, and if you’re not sure where to start, that’s something worth looking into. At the end of the day, you deserve financial stability, and I really hope you find a path that works for you!

If you’re not comfortable with editing there’s platforms out there where you can commission someone to edit your videos. Do what you’re comfortable with so that it’s enjoyable for you 😊

There are some really low life people out there and I’m sorry you have to deal with them. Your cc has made my game come alive in ways I never thought it could, and with this being part of your livelihood what about posting videos of you creating your amazing cc on YouTube? I found your cc through seeing someone else use it in their gameplay, so I imagine if you put it out there you’ll get more followers and another source of income ☺️ just a thought. 2025-02-16 00:19:32 +0000 UTCYou are absolutely doing enough and not getting enough for it. Maybe add a $10 tier for exclusive requests? I saw that the average is $12, so it’s still reasonable. You could also do a zip file with all of the restaurant or other CC that is locked behind the $10 tier. I’ve seen other creators do that with success. They just update the file. Even if people pop in and only pay for a month at a time, it’s still extra revenue for you.

I thought that I wasn't very popular due to the fact I don't do any mod work, and I may never. Someday I want a team with someone that can make my creations functional. That would be awesome! I usually spend 8-10hrs a day in blender working on meshes.

It takes time to build up a fan base and while some will steal, your name is spreading. You are becoming more and more popular. Good people will support you and if that brings you joy and a little $, then you win!

You are so creative and there's not that much CC creators that do what you do at this moment. Why don't you do course online to teach people how to create CC?
