Apple's 30% Fee Increase
Added 2024-08-12 14:10:54 +0000 UTCWell, I just got an email from Patreon stating that Apple is now charging a 30 percent fee for new subscribers that subscribe using the iOS app (and other apps too). This is ridiculous. I want everyone to know this so they can use another device like Android or browser to sub to me or other creators in the future. This change starts in November 2024. I feel this is Apple's greed that caused them to do this. Do the math, 30 percent is not a small amount. So please, let everyone you know that is thinking about subbing to anyone's Patreon about this.
