I remember the DVD had a commentary track from the critics who ripped it to shreds in his review. He spent the whole time hating it and confused why they paid him to do it. It's a lot of awkward anti-humor.

2024-08-21 15:23:47 +0000 UTCWhen you had mentioned that part of Tim and Eric's schoolwork had been about how VHS is superior to DVD, that instantly made me think of another Tim Heidecker project, On Cinema. A big part of cohost/"special guest" Gregg Turkington's whole shtick is that despite being a self proclaimed movie buff, he's weirdly emphatic on VHS being the superior format to DVD. Like with Spaghett, it's interesting to see T&E dip into their ouvre to produce something new
