March Collection: Full Reveal!

It's very nearly time to say "goodbye pirates" and "hello knights", so we'd better show you what you guys can look forward to downloading and printing on March 2nd! Let's take a look at the complete collection of Steelwatch Knights as they take to the battlefield in all their miniature glory.

The hero leading this particular order of the Steelwatch is Commander Leoneidor Fabios, an absolute hunk of a man who's never too battle-weary to make sure his hair looks fantastic. Last week we showed Fabios on foot, with options to print him wielding either a flail or a severed minotaur head, but those aren't the only versions of the good commander in this collection - you have the option to mount him on a pegasus too!

Leoneidor Fabios is known far and wide as The Lion Knight, and it's not hard to see why. Aside from his companionship with Klaudra the battle cat, the leonine heraldry of House Fabios adorns everything from Leoneidor's chest plate, shield and helmet to the barding of his airborne steed and the pennant that adorns his great lance. All that detailed heraldry is going to make for a great painting project. The collection also includes various base options, so you can assemble Fabios and Klaudra together or separately.

Not content with several versions of the great commander, we've also included a second hero in this collection - the mysterious and deadly Knight of A Thousand Swords. Yes, he has four arms. No one know how or why. This nameless knight keeps his origins private, and his fellow Steelwatch are too nervous to ask. The more observant among you may have noticed that this guy in fact carries only eight swords (and a number of daggers), but that's not how he earned his fearsome title. The fact is that when this extraordinary fighter takes to the battlefield, the resulting whirlwind of steel and swift death gives the appearance that he's wielding a thousand blades. So now you know.

These mighty heroes are backed up by their less celebrated (but no less capable) brethren. If you've been following our feed you will have already seen some of the fighters and paladins on foot, and now they're joined by even more noble warriors for a total of 10. We've aimed to give each one a dynamic pose and a unique look that really conveys something about their character. There's a good mix of armour plates, cloth areas and leather on these guys too, so we hope you'll find them especially satisfying to paint.

Last, but certainly not least, we're excited to show you the mounted Steelwatch paladins! Similarly armed and armoured to their foot-slogging comrades, placing them on horseback puts them a cut above and truly makes them the knightliest of knights. We really went to town with the heraldry on the mounted paladins, and it's definitely worth taking a close look at their shields and barding. We hope you like it!

If you haven't already subscribed, we'd love to have you as a Red Dragon tier supporter, or even a Merchant if you'd like to sell prints of these miniatures in your part of the world. With your support we can keep making this Patreon bigger and better!
