Hello guys!
This project has been a total blast :D
My last monster was more a mount/rider combo than a single creature so I had to juggle the focal points in a way that left the Mouth of Mork as central figure, with just a natural extension of the details on the neck and the head of the vulture;
here I got the chance to go crazy on the few central interesting parts like head, torso and upper back!
The extreme speed of the first general step left me with a good amount of time to push on the details, but don't be fooled by the depth of the general look, most of them are just a single super irregular sketchy line!
On this kind of tight natural patterns you need more the illusion of definition because the texture is a fluid continuity more than something deep and precise like armour plates for example!
Enjoy!!!
