APRIL PROGRESS REPORT

Howdy all! Let's talk about what's been happening!

WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING!

See the first picture above. That's what I've been working on these past few weeks, and it should be out next week! It's a silly video in the vein of "this song is not a metaphor," but this time it's about a bird that keeps tapping at my window (or did when I was making it, I fixed it so that way she doesn't want to fight her reflection anymore).

See the second picture above. That's when Karen and I went to Las Vegas for our little trip at the beginning of this month and took a picture with this terrible clown statue. We also lost money on video slots. We also drove through a sandstorm like Mad Max. A pretty fun short excursion. This photo isn't pertinent, I just wanted to include it.

Oh, also, I made a little thing with Louie Zong again! And we're probably gonna do something else together soon!

Also also, I'm officially in SAG-AFTRA now! I've done enough voice roles that I've joined another union. Love unions. Speaking of unions...

WHAT'S GOING ON NEXT?

There is most likely going to be a WGA writer's strike starting this week. Karen and I aren't currently staffing on a show, but this does mean that we won't be pitching stuff for a while!

In June, I've already got my video planned! It's going to be a collab with a creator that I'm EXTREMELY excited to be working with, and I hope you all will be, too!

After that, I'm probably going to be working with Louie Zong on that thing I referenced in the last section!

Finally, MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR A BIG BIKE STREAM ON (DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED, I'VE HAD TO POSTPONE IT, BUT PROBABLY IN MID JUNE). I've almost hit 5000 miles on my new bike, so I'm doing a big celebration stream for it! And I'm most likely going to tie a bit of it to a Patreon update, too!

A PATREON UPDATE!

Patreon's been working on some new stuff, and they're going to allow me to try it out first! The big one for me is FREE MEMBERSHIP, which I'm very excited about.

What does this mean for you all? Not much! It's not going to change the content of my Patreon at all. Each tier still has its exclusive content, and the only thing that will be available to my free members are these progress reports, which have always been available for any Patreon subscriber, even if they don't subscribe to a certain tier. Actually, the progress reports have never been listed as a perk. I've just been doing them for no good reason all these years. Oops.

WELL THAT'S ABOUT TO CHANGE. Now they'll be a perk for free members!

(I'm mostly excited about having a chance to post important things to those who like the work I make. Since I'm no longer on Twitter/rarely post on any social media, I hope this will help keep more people in the loop of what I'm up to! Also, it means that if you hit any major financial hardships and can't subscribe to a certain tier anymore, you'll still have a way to stay involved with my Patreon for free, which I'm really happy about!)

I believe that free memberships will begin on May 8th, so expect another quick post about that on that day!
