"this song is not a metaphor" After Effects Walkthrough

And I don't have much in the way of bloopers, so instead, I made a 35-minute walkthrough of each of the 102 layers I used in After Effects in order to make this 51 second video. That's an average of two layers per second. The video equivalent of a high-speed croissant.

I've been meaning to make a little walkthrough in order to show all of the nuts and bolts that go into the short videos I make, and BOY OH BOY did it take a lot longer than I thought it would.
Let me know if you'd like to see more walkthroughs in the future! I don't know if I can do one for all of my videos, but it was fun to talk through everything.
ALSO: Expect some other Patreon posts in the next month. I've got a VERY LARGE project that's coming out in October (hopefully ~3-5 videos in late October), along with a few other posts of videos that I'm not sure will work out anymore. That said, I'm also moving at the end of this month, so things are gonna be a little wild for the next 50 days or so. Thanks for hanging in there with me!

EDIT: bees also go through metamorphosis. A lot of insects do! I am straining to contain the bug facts EDIT 2: that’s a butterfly in your video! You can tell because, drum roll…. It holds its wings upright at rest! EDIT 3: the scary spikes on those leaves are nail galls! Mites lay their eggs in leaf cells and irritate the surrounding leaf, causing it to rapidly inflame around the egg and create a home/food store for the developing larvae.
