progress report: 360, bird, hat

hahahahahahahahahahahaha i did that thing again where i bought a new gadget and a bunch of props for three video ideas i have and then i probably will never use those things ever again hahahaha whoopsie daisy!

So I have a 360 camera now. It's a "consumer" one, mostly used by real estate agents to photograph houses that they're selling so that people can do virtual walkthroughs. But I am NOT using it for that purpose! I am using it for a video idea that I'll call "360," because that seems easy to remember.

I'm not making a VR video or anything (although maybe in the future? who knows), but I do love the idea of using a 360 camera to allow you to constantly pan around a circle without having to move the camera in any way. So I'm writing a weird little scene that can use this function! It's not horror, I don't think. Maybe it is? I guess we'll see in a few months (cause this one will probably not be the April video).

As you can see in the other two pictures, I bought some fashions! I love to buy fashions, but ONLY WHEN I WILL NEVER USE THEM IN ANY OTHER SCENARIO. This is a reminder to myself that I've been wearing the same Uniqlo tees for the past 5 years, and I probably should do a little wardrobe refresher.

These are for the videos codenamed "bird" and "hat." These are gonna be song videos. I'm getting a little help from my pal Jonah for "hat" because as I was writing the song, I realized I wanted it to actually sound Good (it'll still be released on this Patreon, don't worry). I'll probably do "bird" entirely by myself, because I want it to have that special brand of Not Good sound that I can do on my own.

The plan is to film "hat" this next week, and then spend the whole week after that editing (I'll probably do my second Patron livestream that week), so it'll go up sometime early April. "bird" and "360" are both going to be filmed in early April, because I need a car for those two videos. I have rented a car for that time period, and that extra little pressure of "Oh shoot I actually have to film these things on time or else I've wasted a ton of money" is always good for helping me hit a deadline. The good news is that Karen is going to be instrumental in writing/performing in both "bird" and "360," which should make it doable!

And speaking of working on things with Karen: Karen and I are working on things! That we can't currently tell you about! And I'm also working on things by myself that I also can't currently tell you about! Haha how fun it is to say this on a Patreon and then not be able to say anything else about it! 

But I'm not saying this just to be cheeky or hint that stuff is coming up in the future (although that is a fun side effect). I'm saying this because that was the whole point of me starting a Patreon! 

I wanted the flexibility to work on other people's projects while still being able to make my own stuff, and y'all have allowed me to do that. It's only been 2.5 months since I went solo, and we've already had so many more opportunities pop up, and I can't express how grateful I am that y'all have allowed me to take those opportunities. 

I'll be sure to let you all know when these things become public knowledge (and there are one or two side projects that have been announced), so thank you for giving me the chance to work on bigger stuff that I literally cannot do by myself!!!
