March Livestream INFO (and poll about 2 LIVESTREAMS??)

JORTS ENTHUSIASTS... you have spoken:

I put the Wiki Game down without expecting it to do numbers... but it DID NUMBERS. So that's what's happening. And it will be happening:

****SATURDAY, MARCH 13TH @ 7PM EST****
*******WE PLAY THE WIKIPEDIA GAME*******

If you have never played the Wikipedia Game, here is a very handy Wikipedia entry all about it. (They call it Wikiracing which is good and very marketable but I grew up calling it the Wikipedia Game so I'm sticking with it.) We'll be attempting to get from one Wiki article to the next in as few clicks as possible. I have some goofy ideas on how to stream this. It's going to be an experience. I can't wait.

_____________________________________

But this brings me to another point: This poll was pretty split between folks wanting a goofy stream and folks wanting a process stream (which can also be goofy).

The fact is that livestreaming isn't super labor intensive now that I've set everything up, so I was thinking maybe I can do TWO livestreams a month for this tier. The plan would be to have:

I probably wouldn't announce the process livestream with a separate post (like this), but instead just post the link to where it'll be streaming the day before I do it.

That said, if people aren't super interested in the pure process livestream, we can just keep it to these once-a-month-weirdo-anything-goes-style livestreams!

So please vote here if you think this is a good/bad idea! Or also if you're completely indifferent to it! If folks are interested, I'll probably be doing the edit stream in a week or two, once I get this next video filmed (It's coming along! Slowly! But it's happening!)

******
ALSO
, since this isn't a poll for next month's goofy stream, please leave ideas for streams you'd like to see in April in the comments, and whichever one gets the most likes, I will do. Or maybe not. I'll probably just choose one at random. I do what I want.

Well said!

I really liked the idea of a breakfast/brunch q+a so I hope we can see that at some point in the future!

I would love to see process streams very much, even if they are more low effort it’s interesting to watch! So if you wanna do those, please do! As for fun streams, it might be a bit much with your morning stream and all but playing games on the DDR pad? Or maybe just ddr? Could be fun

Hila SketchCat Shats

As much as possible and more, please. I voted for the two streams, mostly because I would love to see the process in action, no matter how dry. End of file, it's whatever you're comfortable with because I don't want more at the risk of ultimately getting less.

For your next stream take it back to sixth grade! You should make paper fortune tellers and play M.a.s.h. With suggestions from chat

Ashe

I don't want you to burn out by feeling like every moment of the creative process needs to be made into content. Just focus on one and put everything you've got into that!

Laura G

Jorts Enthusiasts are also Autonomy Enthusiasts, you do what you want! You could always be flexible and do 1-2 streams a month as you see fit. Just happy to cheer you on in whatever process it is!

Erica

Has there been an obligatory Among Us stream yet πŸ˜‚

Viddygaem

I like process stuff a lot! In fact if you only did one I'd prefer the process one over the fun ones but I think I'm in a minority. Fun game suggestion: GeoGuessr. Super fun on stream! It drops you on a random place on Google Street View and you need to guess which country you're in: https://www.geoguessr.com/country-streak

Aimelle

I like the tier list idea!

I'd love to see a Process about filming, like we got a little bit on the WTF BTS, how you set up takes/how you frame, what mics you use for what purposes, how many takes there are, how you pick the one you like, etc. I'd also love a more in-depth jaunt through songmaking if that seems like something you're likely to return to in the nearish future. However, I'm also into all of the options from the last poll and impossible to disappoint, so. You do what you want.

I voted for the 2 livestreams just because its fascinating to watch other people's creative processes in real time but I also don't blame you if you're more comfortable giving us more "entertaining" content. I like the fun stuff too!

Howdy

thank you for the vote of confidence in my lack of confidence!

Like Well-spoken rambler said, this isn't a democracy (if anyone is wondering it's clearly a theocracy) but I think watching you paint a gundam would be a very enlightening experience

occasionalGhost

Also stream idea: live-streamed watch party/directors commentary of a shorter movie/anime/etc.

Megan Ellis

Honestly for April I'd love to see you try one of those easter egg craft kits or something haha

Luna

I love the idea of two streams per month, but will not be disappointed with keeping it at one stream! I know like maybe 2 things about filming and editing videos (one of which is: turn the camera on), so I find process videos fascinating. But I really enjoy the goofy ones too!

Megan Ellis

I'd say for thematic reasons do a april 1st stream, but I'm torn between ranking/tier list pranks or jokes with chat. I just wanna see someone do that.

Maxie β‰ˆwβ‰ˆ

Do whatever you feel comfortable doing, I'm just happy to join the streams when they pop up! The song making process was super cool to see, but I'm also a fan of chill streams where we all play the wikipedia game together too. Also still very into the idea of chill gunpla building streams!

joewidd

I really love this idea! You're giving us the best of both worlds - behind the scenes content and goofy bonus content. Really looking forward to watching both of these streams. Thanks for all the hard work and time you put towards us patrons!

Dan Fiscus

This isn't a democracy, and my democratic vote reflects that. Also: I am a fan of the concept of a gunpla painting stream, if and when your airbrushing skills are up to snuff. However, once again: this isn't a democracy.
