A Chief tier patron asked how many missions you can send the characters on, so I thought I'd answer here; you can send them on as many missions as you want. You're police chief, after all.
Just note that more missions = longer wait time before the characters send you reports or pics from the mission. Some missions will get full comics showing you what happened. All tiers can view the comics/pics/mission reports (based on your tier level) but only Chiefs can create the missions.
