Please don’t judge music in other languages as bizarre after hearing just one song!! Some of my favourite music is in French, Japanese and Korean. I don’t even understand these languages, but music is music! I think you’d love Stromae, for instance (Belgian artist), BLACKPINK (Kpop), and BOA (Jpop). It’s crazy how limiting language can be to music.. plus in my opinion, there are far more beautiful sounding languages than English, like especially the Romance languages. Happy listening bud love your work

I'd agree it's much more popular, but how is it Americanized?

There's English pop music? I'm kidding, but I'd say Korea is probably the king of pop - they have turned what is still though of as an art in the US into a science - they crank out pop songs from music factories. Other countries still rely on popular artists rather than the companies behind them for hits.

Nah that's just AKB48 and it was 9 years ago - Korean pop music is much more popular than Japanese pop ever was imo and is very Americanised.

Haha omg this was the first song I sang at karaoke in Japan. It does get even better knowing the lyrics (the video, not my singing). :)
