Ring Toss - 17

Thanks and welcome back! I rewrote the triple negative completely. Down to a single negative and put in the rest of the corrections. Kurt Cobain died, or was at least found dead, on that date. It's more ribbing between Pat and Rosie. I don't intend to pretend Rosie's based off of anything related to Kurt. They just like having silly reasons to pick at each other.

Hopefully I'm back in proper form. In truth I enjoy making these; I've tried my hand at writing a few times, but I have a double-whammy of motivation trouble and a rampant perfectionist streak, so this is a nice way to still practice at the very least. Great chapter as always, and I hope you keep 'em coming. "She had washed off her made up face entirely." Made up should be made-up; made up means two people have made amends, made-up means falsely manufactured or marked by makeup. "Money, I wasn’t just screwing my friends out of the loves of their lives, I was robbing them straight up too." This just doesn't parse well to me. A semi-colon doesn't really fit here but maybe a period after Money? Just personal preference though, I understand you're going for a specific feel to the thoughts. "...didn’t mean I thought for a second I couldn’t call him in need of a favor and worry he wouldn’t be first to the plate." The double (or triple, if you want to count didn't) negative here is a little confusing, along with the redundancy of "thought" and "worry." Maybe "didn't mean I thought for a second I could call him in need of a favour and he wouldn't be first to the plate." Not a perfect solution but it preserves the original sentence structure as much as possible. "Spotify, music, August 8, 1994 was the day Rosie was born. She claims she would've had to have been conceived that day to be a reincarnation. I’m suspicious." I'm just missing a reference here, but the joke is she's a reincarnation of who/what?
