Small Town Goddesses - 12 - Zalana the Shade

Holy shit! Nemesis chapters are hard because the banter has to tell the story of Michael's goddesses as Nemesis's story runs parallel. 

I always knew that once I had episodes 1 through 13 written, rewrites would have to come to fix all of the continuity errors. I think I realized how big a project that's gonna be with this chapter. 

I wrote and rewrote this chapter at least nine times in the last six months. The sex was the hardest part. Changing my mind considerably on ...

A Hill of Beans - 8

Hi, alright, it turns out, I need to go back and make two changes to the text. Richie noted that Flo was at the pickup before Caitlin whisked him off on his own. I'm going to make Flo's presence unseen. The other is I have to go everything and make the dates in the story match my notes. There are conflicts between whether this is taking place on a Thursday night or Wednesday. I'm going to clarify that it's Thursday. Those changes should be corrected this week, but definitely before chapter 9 ...

Overfilled with mom's cooking

A friend of mine offered me a ride back to Mom's for the holiday (Canadian Thanksgiving). However, the trip back to my place isn't until tomorrow. When I get back home, it'll likely be right before my shift starts that night.

It turns out, I feel very uncomfortable writing and editing the next chapter sharing a table with my Mom and sometimes my sister. I'm sure we're all surprised by this. So... I'll see you guys on Tuesday. And hopefully be on proper schedule on the 18th.

Hi, sorry about the delay again. For the last couple of weeks I've been covering extra shifts because of a co-worker with family health issues. It'll probably go on for a few more weeks, but I'm doing my best to get into the rhythm despite things.

Voting 3.2 - The Draft, Order Inverted

Thanks to skinnyrandompatron for suggesting a rewrite where the story opens with The Draft, making the name clearer. If you read yesterday's post, this one is much the same, but with the backend first and then the jump back to how they got here. It also puts the girls descriptions first. I think it works better. I also fixed the bit where it's now Nina who calls Hughie a Nerd's Nerd to connect with her being picked for DnD related purposes.
