Patron Stream #38 (Appreciation Month Special) Recap + Updates!

Hey Patrons! Here's a quick recap of today's stream for those who missed it:

We had a TON to draw today, but before that, I wanted to reveal a couple of things I haven't mentioned yet:

I've been working with the master of Game x Metal crossover shirts, Draculabyte, to bring you a couple of badass new GaMetal shirt designs! These aren't available yet, but should be sometime around early September. This will coincide with a public Youtube Q&A / News Live Stream, the date of which is to be determined, but I will let you all know as soon as I can confirm a date.

The other thing I wanted to reveal:

After about 8 years of dependable service, I am retiring the Bootar.

"Bootar" (Jackson DK2M)

I've been saving up for quite a while now to get a guitar that is a bit better than the ones I've been using. The Bootar is a great guitar, but after playing guitar for almost 20 years and now doing it professionally, it was time for an upgrade.

Introducing... The Bootar 2! This is a Jackson Custom Shop model (Dinky 2H Custom Select to be precise) that I found used at an absolute absurd bargain price for its condition, and just had to nab before it was gone. I commissioned our friend nintendonut1 (who did a beyond perfect job, and is the one that creates all of the main GaMetal album covers) to create an original Boo design specifically shaped for this guitar, to give it more of a unique look vs the Mario Pinball Boo design I threw together years ago.

After a much needed setup and adjustment, it feels and plays far better than any other guitar I've ever owned. The Bootar 2 will make it's official debut in Gusty Garden Galaxy, while Hope Never Dies will be Bootar 1's final appearance. I'm looking to get a second guitar as well, probably sometime closer to the end of the year.

Oh and... I'm going to uphold something I've been talking about doing since the early days of the GaMetal Patreon: at the end of the year, I will be giving the Bootar 1 away to a lucky Patron! I'll keep you informed when we get closer to that time. :)

The next few months are looking to be absolutely jam packed. I've been working feverishly on almost every song on the to-do list, and have a lot done on several. I'm looking to really clean house on this to-do list so we can get back to things like the extra drawing milestone goals before the years end.
