But the thing is he can't even participate in everything wherein if he's a solo artist he can do everthing, it's just that it's hard to be a soloist, there's more opportunities if you're in a group.

I actually knew about Leo randomly when I was scrolling on Youtube music and came across his song One Look, it was just released and I absolutely loved it! His voice and songs were totally my style. I watched B2P because of him and was so excited for his debut. It is such a bittersweet moment because I don't know when we'll get to hear his songs again, but I really hope the company promotes him well because he has so much protentional to be wasted for 6 years.

2026-02-25 22:39:02 +0000 UTCI absolutely adore this album. Leo was one of my top artists in the second half of last year and the man only has four song... that's how much I loved this ep. One look has to be one of my favourite songs of all time bcus of its atmosphere, its always felt like a dreamy/float-y song, i always feel this heaviness that kind of stems from anticipation when im listening to the song, and i love songs that can make me feel thinhs PHYSICALLY. Also love the rhythm and lyrics. I also echo the bittersweet sentiment that Leo now being in Ald1 means less of this solo soulful goodness but I also agree that Ald1 will be fantastic for him, exposure-wise (but also I'm starting to question that bcus of recent happenings). I don't think he will be doing solo endeavours soon so ig we will have wait and see but I'm really hoping for good things for him in the future. (My ultimate dream is for sangwon and Leo to debut as a duo after Ald1 disbands, they are both powerhouses to me who can thrive in different aspects of performances. Idk if that's logistically possible but a girl can dream)

Really thank u TT udk how happy i am bcs there were time very few people listening to it. From what i've heard, FAREWELL was in fact BI song that he gave to Leo bcs he can really relate to the song, wich is for people who followed Leo before his solo debut something really impactful bcs it kinda remind us of his journey. Interesting fact is that there’s a song that was never officially released but that BI often performs at his concerts, called “May.” This song is a collaboration between BI and Leo, and it’s also very beautiful. I hope we’ll be able to hear it someday. i do agree with you, I think that if he had continued as a solo artist, he could have given us something truly unique, with very beautiful songs. But unfortunately, given how the industry works, it might have been difficult for him to break through. From what we observed, before BIIP, very few people were listening to his songs. He wasn’t well known at all as a solo singer, and it was really hard to get people to pay attention to his music, even though his songs are very good. It was only after BIIPt that there was a big increase in listeners. So all of this is to say that I truly miss his solo career, and many people do too. But I still think it was a good idea for him to participate in BIIP, that’s really where everything began.

2026-02-25 16:08:44 +0000 UTCwe have the exact same track rankings this time!! the vibes aren't exactly similar but farewell kinda reminded me of ikon's airplane when i first heard it! i 100% get what you mean about BI's writing style LOL i love how cohesive this EP is and i'm so glad 131 and BI saw the potential in him and gave him this opportunity!! i'm ngl during b2p i was so fixated on my 1-pick getting to debut that i only checked this EP out after the finale. i instantly regretted not voting more for him after hearing this - thank god leo made it. with his voice and artistry i think he'd have released solid solo music but it would have been really hard to be profitable and make a decent living without a larger audience. ultimately, him making it into the group would be good for his long-term career. who knows what's gonna happen in the future tbh but especially with zb5 being real, i think ald1 has a solid chance of staying together even past their initial contracts (which are 5+1 whopping years anyway!). by the time that's over, some of the members would need to enlist and maybe he'll go solo then. i'm excited to see where he goes with the amount of talent, artistry and potential in him!

Like he would continue with his solo and become “next Kang Daniel”. But I believe their contract is for 5 years, so I do not know about his future solo activities…

I'm glad you liked all the songs. Plus B.I wrote farewell referring to his experience of leaving ikon and then leo read the lyrics and related so much to it at that time (when leo left trainee A) that B.I actually gave him the song. And now thinking about it, you are right, leo's voice is actually far more well suited for this song than B.I haha
