Just to have a small correction, well fans voted Jake and he ranked 3rd globally!. Sunoo was PD pick in i-land haha. But regardless, I agree with all your words! I love how grounded he is. I think this also really rubs off on Enhypen as a whole. They never try and be "extra" for cameras. They are all more introverted and some people call that "boring", but I think it makes them as a group more relatable and charming since they are being themselves. And I think Jake plays a big part in that! Im so glad he finally got to showcase more of his vocals. I hope more members can appear as well because they all have such charming tones!

2026-02-06 17:18:49 +0000 UTCtheres something immediately disarming about jake. once you’re past the fact that he’s incredibly handsome, when he speaks there’s a very chill and unimposing nature about him that kind of makes u not expect how focused and refined he is when he’s performing. the staff are very openly reacting to the things he’s saying and literally giggling when they think he’s cute lmao. when he was poised as the “icon of growth” on iland, it gave him this sort of image where he has potential, but there’s still a long way to go. his growth has always been steady that u don’t really grasp how far he’s gone until you really consider everything. it’s almost like he can’t even believe it himself at times, he seems to almost sag in relief when mujin praises him. like a puppy waiting to be pat on the head lol.
