When one likes them, they (the one/in this case you, PD) gets harsh feedback for liking them because of X amount reasons for which they should be hated. But then when one is honest, it goes the other way round, because apparently it is expected to deny anything negative about them. It is necessary to see the difference: - Hating Annie because she comes from a rich family and intentionally seeing everything wrong about her and going after her family (like sister and spamming her on social media…) THAT IS WRONG & BAD - Being honest and focusing only on the part of her skills/performance regardless of her background is JUST TRYING TO BE UNBIASED AS POSSIBLE & SHARING ONE’S POINT OF VIEW ON THE ONE PART REGARDING HER The same goes with Tarzzan… Saying he is a great dancer and has something to add to the group DOES NOT EQUAL one is trying to defend any controversial thing he might be related to. Obviously we speak about this case, where nobody commited any crime or harmed anybody. It is understandable that one may share a good comment on something and not meaning to say the person has not done anything wrong ever. But also… let’s not act like there was no Zico before and Tarzzan is the first Kpop act to be going way beyond with his hip hop/black culture appreciation.

Annie adds NOTHING to this group, they can take her out and their music or group in general wouldn’t get affected or impacted in any way. That said, Hot is the best song on the EP and Bailey’s “it’s like I won the lotto” part in You and I was the highlight of that song, the way she delivered it is so catchy.

2026-02-05 01:36:15 +0000 UTCSorry if it comes off mean spirited. I make it pretty clear I'm not okay with blind hatred, like with Tarzzan hate and calling Tarzzan a "bad rapper". I just wanted to objectively illustrate, Annie's the most important member in some ways because she fundamentally does not add or enhance the dynamics in any way whatsoever, and yet they're already this successful. Once Annie is able to actually break out of that, it's less of a skill thing, but SHOW her color as an artist, it'll only take this group further. Right now, she lacks any personality in her delivery. I'm only ever harsh and extremely critical in one realm and it's in this category. This is especially more prominent in my survival show reactions where I go harder in on trainees to make it clear what's missing. I'm sorry if I was unable to eloquently translate that into a constructive narrative and it was received in a mean spirited manner.

If you’re reading this and never heard “sync-love” and “MVSK” by Kep1er, “Pantomime” by WJSN, and “The Colors of Light” straight into “Glitch” by Kwon Eunbi, go find yourself over-ear noise cancelling headphones and get ready for a sonic experience. 💃🕺 (Please comment your favorite examples of this cuz I LOVE hearing way more layers and dynamics that just 100% elevate a track.)

I usually enjoy your video because you’re normally so well-meaning with your feedback (as harsh as it may be), but this genuinely came across as mean-spirited and honestly fueled by the general hatred towards annie. Spending 15 minutes out of a 40+ minute video just listing how 'bad' Annie is felt less like a review and more like a teardown. You can see the proof in the comments—everyone is just piling on her because youve clearly shown your channel is ok with that sort of discussion. She’s definitely not the worst idol ever like shes being made out to be, and it’s disappointing to see a creator I usually like lead such a toxic conversation.
