I’m shy, and I understand it being seen as rude. But at the same time, I just have a terrible memory, so even if I wasn’t shy, I don’t think it would make much difference. I don’t even understand my brain. However, to sort of make up for a lack of memory, I do try to jot things down in my notes up, hence why I have so many on my phone lol. Also it’s not necessarily that the conversation or experience is not interesting or meaningful. I have forgotten even some big experiences. And for that, I’ve beaten myself up about it, but my family kind of rubs it in my face sometimes or calls me out, so I end up just staying quiet when certain memories are brought up
