The duality of your confusion and awe is exactly why I wanted to see this reaction. Also your comment about analogy for true beauty makes me think about all the toxic comments about Wendy's face and reconstruction surgery after her accident, I wonder if that was an underlying inspiration for this concept. She has always been gorgeous so its such a shame certain always online individuals have to spin that into such negativity.

To be honest, I found the video confusing too but watching you puzzle through it made me think like this: all of the sets and props are the things that Wendy's character played with in isolation, hiding from the sun, but after she gets brave enough to put herself into the world, she discovers the remote which gives her more confidence to get out there. So she packs all of her old distractions and toys away and dumps them (and they explode...for which I got nothing!) and she goes out into the world to live and explore more freely. I wonder if the last shot of her hand with the silvery metal is meant to be like Kintsugi, the Japanese method of repairing broken ceramics with gold? There is that line in the song about turning yeses to gold, and that's the hand that was steaming in the sunlight at the start of the video. She's been hurt, but by acknowledging the hurt and taking steps to repair it she's still damaged, but also whole and beautiful and ready to take her next steps. Those are my thoughts, anyway! Which I wouldn't have arrived at without this video, so thank you! Oh, and I love the song, and the whole EP and Wendy in general!

You should react to some of Wendy's older/other music like 'Wish You Hell' or 'Like Water', both mini albums!
