Regarding the members working on the songs, they have talked about how every time jyp prepares for their albums they actually ask the kickflip members whether they want to participate in the song camps for them. And ofc the members are all VERY enthusiastic about joining in and say they are very grateful they are able to jump on these opportunities (JYP hell f-ing yes! YES! give your artists the chance to be part of the process!!!!!). They send the members to different songs and they all work on it separately with those producers and then in the end they get to come together, listen to each other's songs and the best songs get selected for the album or for other albums. oh and btw, alongside MFLS they promoted both bandaid, and gas on it as the b-sides

2025-11-06 12:07:26 +0000 UTCeyyy ive been waiting for this one!! hell yea! Ive been a weflip for one month thanks to this album and they srsly make me feel young again 😭 so much nostalgia. Ive never fallen in love but just the concept of it, having a crush for the first time, is so cute and so thrilling. And they made it so so youthful, makes me reminice my high school days even without the love part. I think bandaid is incredible because all the verses are so pretty, it's like almost everything sounds like a bridge, every part of the song is the prettiest part of the song. MAaaaan everyone needs to check out their stage practice vids, these songs are so difficult to sing and they are killing it, continuing jyp's legacy of amazingly confident live singing dance practices (even while missing one of their main vocals T_T i miss amaru). The members really improved a crap ton thanks to MFLS and bandaid, in their recording behinds you could see how much of a hard time they had with the vocals. And thanks to having to sing the songs live, they now do it comfortably because of all that practice. They really couldve saved bandaid or MFLS as a 4th comeback with how good it is but they didnt and i love that! It makes me wonder where they are headed next. Jyp has been experimenting with them, this comeback made a lot of noise domestically (Kyehoon's 'kyeral' meme persona raised their brand reputation so much...he's gone so viral for his cringey, cheesy, very outdated flirty persona. I think you might love the MMTG episode with them) Anyways, i wasnt crazily engaged with kpop this yr but kickflip might take the cake for me as favourite boy group this year. Make that jyp groups have been insane this year. All their groups have had me fawning over them, not to mention game caters. It also helps that in the last year and a bit, jyp has sent 4 groups to australia and i have been able to see every one of them!! life changing concerts from stray kids, day6, nmixx, and twice
