Some groups are maybe like family within their own group, but I think it’s the way you hear how cutthroat they are, how they blackballed JYJ, they blackballed Jessica, the whole Lucas and Seunghan handling.. out of all the labels they are for sure the most corporate. I mean come on there have been FOUR high profile famous idol suicides and two of them are from SM. Not saying it’s their fault, just that there’s a lot to support the theory they’re not a family, they’re a business business.

Day6 really seems to shine in variety show when they are with people whom they know well enough to act like themselves, that self being kinda weird and clueless to the point where its funny. It really seems like JYPE artist have a family quality to them, Day6 feel like the funny and clumsy uncles.

2025-11-04 23:55:09 +0000 UTCAbout the SM comparison at the end, I agree scheduling is hard BUT COME ON it was SM's 30th anniversary, it's THE K-POP entertainment company with so many iconic idols and groups and you're telling me they can't make the effort to put together something amazing like this? If HYBE, JYP & Starship can do it, SM should be able to do this too, in my opinion they missed a HUGE oppurtunity with half assing their Game Catereres. That being said I still enjoyed the lineup and the games they played, but it was too short and the scale too small for such an occassion.

I thought they would continue every year but they started to do concerts/pictorials but they stopped 😭😭😭 aside from the JYPnation 2019 stage and the newer gen JYP nation stage last year (?) its been a while

2025-11-04 22:56:56 +0000 UTCniziu have 2 korean title tracks and a couple bsides, all bops! they made history as the first ever non korean groups to get a Korean music show win and achieved wins for both of their Koreans title tracks. they still are the only non Korean group to have achieved this. hope you get round to them more one day! I understand their Japan releases are more cuts and maybe not your vibe but the Korean tracks (heartriss, love line, lucky star, what if) are much more Kpop sounding :)
