'body' didn't even enter top1000 on the charts at first but then over a few weeks it slowly climbed and is now at the top10 on Melon. People saw her on music shows and the sheer amount of effort and passion she put into every single stage. She basically brute forced and demanded to be successfull and it actually worked. Such a cool story. I'm so proud of her and she absolutly deserves this! Also fun little detail about the lyrics. Through out the song the chorus end with "and you're gonna love me, right?". But the very last time it's not a question. It's just "And you're gonna love me!"

2025-10-17 15:02:14 +0000 UTCWith this release, Dayoung proved to us that she, and the rest of her members, have so much to prove for themselves and their artistry, but unfortunately weren’t given a chance. At several points in their career, the industry was very ready to ride on the wjsn wave(most notably: after as you wish blew up, and after winning queendom) but sse simply never pumped out Any content. Since wining QD2 till today, all they have released as a group is literally two songs packaged in one single release, it’s atrocious planning to say the least. Seeing Dayoung’s release makes me think I would also love to see solo releases by the rest of members given how their individuality shines even when as a group! Something like the loona project would be so cool! I really didn’t think I’d be saying this but 2025 brought us closer to a WJSN renaissance, the hype is certainly there so hopefully sse will listen for Once.

2025-10-17 08:37:56 +0000 UTCI always had faith in dayoung and knew how truly dedicated she is to being an idol as an ujung all these years but I honestly didn’t have any faith in starship execs, the fact that she got to do this level of running her own show and planning is shocking to me considering Starship in general and their treatment of WJSN; she always had huge potential that never 100% got to shine in the group (bc for some reason the execs really wanted them to be stuck as 2D idols not 3 dimensional as they actually are) and I’m so amazed and glad to be in the dayoung renaissance, can’t wait to see her reign
