2025-09-28 22:51:01 +0000 UTCUnfortunately, I feel like Boy Story is probably not going to come back, and this is coming from someone who has been a fan of Boy Story for a longgg time. There are so many factors, and a lot is simply due to members on hiatus for university, as well as a member scandal that honestly caused the whole hiatus situation. It was a dating scandal from what I remember. In my opinion, it seemed more like a grooming situation that one member went through, but that's the extremely summarized version of this. Boys Planet 2 is actually why I was really hoping that the boy story members would debut in the final group, since I know that there is such a high chance that their group might not come back. (don't get me wrong btw, I am still hoping that they will come back since I really, really love their music, but I also am thinking realistically😭😢 I hope that Zihao can release music if he can, because I loved his mixtape he released a few years ago! He showcased his vocals and rap really well in my opinion

2025-09-25 02:50:05 +0000 UTCmy lineup atp is junseo kangmin sangwon leo leejeong liyu sanghyeon anxin so very different from a lot of people here, probably because i watched a lot off show, predebut and other content too and found others more likeable off that. i really don’t mind anyone as long as kangmin and junseo are in the lineup, kangmin is such an ace it’s crazy to not debut him, junseo is a perfect leader, and the two of them have a great visual chemistry and history too lol. i think i’ll be more into haneum’s solo career than i will into this group regardless of the results though 😭 fly high one pick, fly high… and also wherever masato ends up…

2025-09-25 02:44:37 +0000 UTCOk, my top 8 lineup is the same as yours except i would definitely choose dong gyu to replace jun seo. When comparing both of them, aside from their leadership, i feel that dong gyu is a stronger vocalist, and personally he stands out more to me than junseo in terms or aura. But i will admit that i have had my eyes on him since his audition so maybe i'm seeing all his. BUT Leo, Xin long, Sang won and Dong gyu are non-negotiable candidates for me.

Dongyu has also grown on me so much since the Bad performance so if he makes it that would just be such a nice extra. From the top 8 we currently have, I still feel so-so on Junseo and Geonwoo (I wouldn't mind one of them making it but idrc either). Sanghyeon on the other hand… I like him as a contestant but his skills still feel so lackluster to me. He’s not bad but I don’t find him bringing something to the table like Junmin or Dongyu does :/

2025-09-25 01:40:12 +0000 UTCthe end results seem so unpredictable that i can only focus my energy on my main picks 🥲 i don’t have a zhang hao this season (i’m not sure any survival show contestant will ever make me feel that way again), but xinlong is my gunwook. sangwon is kinda like hanbin in my eyes where i need him in the group but he’s the only one im not worried about. i really want jiahao and donggyu in the group. jiahao is just so so good, and i think donggyu will add so much with his leadership and choreography skills.

I’ve had this huge lump of anxiety sitting on my stomach for the past week because of how nervous I have been wondering if Junmin is going to make the lineup. He’s my number one pick and when I think of whatever this group is going to become, I can’t imagine him not being in it. Call me biased but this would be such a huge loss to not have him in the team. 😭 Last season Gunwook was my number 1 pick and I kind of had a feeling towards the end that he would be fine and debut. ❤️ However, for this season, the rankings are so unpredictable that I don’t know how this lineup is going to go. A perfect lineup in my head would be: Sangwon, Leo, Junmin, Donggyu, Xinlong, Geonwoo, Anxin, and Jia Hao. I swear this lineup would be unstoppable and could shake up the industry with a proper discography and management. 😭

2025-09-24 21:29:41 +0000 UTCI think everyone collectively sighed when Mnet started going in on the “alpha masc” stuff bc it’s so stupid, so forced, so capitalistic, and what I think is funniest is the lack of foresight and the inherent irony that Number 1 and Number 2 is Sangwon, and Anxin—who are excellent but couldn’t be further from the fire masc energy, which is why it’s so stupid to try to predetermine the concept of a group and also it’s not like the production should be new to this??? Kpop and especially survival shows are ran by flowery pretty visuals?? They will always do numbers with big eyes and a small face, and then to turn around and expect any or all of top 8 to fit a very specific energy is wild to me idk what they were expecting—if you want to be all rugged grrr im a “real man” 🙄 then also dont cast minors ??? If they wanted rough and tumble then start casting people who could actually do that, like I would watch a show if they put into casting specifically people in their 30s lmao if they were going for a specific visual look of something more mature THAT would be more interesting than the the sloppy production Mnet is shoving down our throats

I really like Xinlong, Leo & Junmin they are crazy talented and deserve to make it but i feel like i personally wouldn’t like the concept they would probably go for with them in the group. But hey we’ll see i’m realllyyy curious.

2025-09-24 18:04:04 +0000 UTCThis finale is gonna be crazyyyy (as in this lineup might make me crash out lol)...My final lineup is: Anxin, Sangwon, Leo, Jiahao, Kaiwen, Kangmin, Donggyu and Xinlong and I just KNOW its not gonna be the final one but a girl can dream LOL... Also this may be just me, but I did not enjoy watching this season as much as I enjoyed watching S1 and I didnt even watch it as it was airing I watched it after the group was made so I already knew the lineup but it was still so fun and the trainees were so talented. I really disliked the whole ra ra alpha male concept LOL and it seems like some of the interactions were so forced this season. Plus even as viewers all we got was drama and pranks and nothing fun and cute and stress relieving like last season...LIKE WHERE ARE THE FUN GAMES 💀 Anyways Im not surprised cause I dislike mnet but still its crazy how much I do not like this season

2025-09-24 16:25:41 +0000 UTClowkey so anxious about tomorrow LOL i'm so emotionally invested in the show that if xinlong doesn't make it my mood for the rest of the year would be affected... i largely agree with your top 8 and i think your lineup would suit a more intense concept well but the rankings this season are so volatile that i have no idea where anyone is??? also the fact that the internim ranking that has been revealed is sangwon p02 means that mnet is satisfied enough with their potential top 8 that they dont want to risk anything else so i'm hoping for the best but mentally preparing for the worst. someone calculated that xinlong would have been p04 without geonwoo and jiahao getting the benefit from chains but tbh the vote margins are so low that any selective internim rank revealing would probably change the debut lineup gosh i can't believe it's less than 24 hours till this show is ending, i'm getting flashbacks to when zb1 was first formed and i can't believe i'm going on this emotional journey again. i think bp1 was more fun as a season but somehow i'm even more emotionally invested this time, which i Did Not think was possible LOL last but not least... my 2nd pick zihao :( i wanted him to make it to the finals but ngl him surviving the last round was already unexpected so i didn't have high hopes. he might not be the best and most flashy performer on stage but i think he has solid skills and his personality makes him super likeable as an idol
