Again, sorry for the delay on this chapter. After struggling to get 1.35 right I probably should have just moved on to write a different scene then come back to it, but that's hard to do when I never know exactly how things are going to play out within a chapter until I actually write them. :)

Writing struggles aside this wasn't the best week for me, which certainly doesn't help. Things are a bit better now, so hopefully next week I'll manage to regain some of my lost momentum.

I hope to get more chapters out next week, but I've learned my lesson on trying to promise a set number of chapters per week, namely in that I'm not at the level where I can churn out five or more chapters a week I'm happy with. Rather than unlock old posts, I'm going to make new ones for you guys. I think that's easier for me, and I know when I was a lower tier patron of another author I didn't always get notified when they unlocked posts for that tier, which can get annoying.

If I haven't said it in a while: I'm thankful for all your support! I didn't expect my story to gain the quick popularity that it did, and to  be honest it's been a bit overwhelming. I'm pushing through it, though.

1.28 Perspective

Minor Tier Tweaks, for less sales tax

Not sure if anyone was being charged a sales tax before, but I added the benefit "General Support" to all the tiers, to make it clear each tier is about supporting me, with the advanced chapters being something I am providing as thanks for that support. 

With this new General Support benefit weighted for 100% of the tax value, it should limit what taxes anyone has to pay.

Apparently, otherwise "Early Access" to chapters might be considered taxable, despite the chapters eventu...

A slight schedule revision...

Instead of promising a chapter a day Monday through Friday, I'm going to aim for five chapters a week right now (for cheddar), a slight but distinct difference. I need a buffer chapter or two written before I can have a more reliable release schedule for you all.

Didn't have time to write much today. I have half a chapter done, should be able to finish it in the morning.

And, yes, it does answer the question on what is going on with Silas.

1.26 Glory

Going forward, to build up some advanced chapters for patrons, I'm going to try to release chapters Monday through Friday on Patreon, with the occasional weekend bonus chapters, while releasing a chapter every other day on Royal Road. I considered posting only MWF on RR, but with the momentum I'm gaining right now that feels like a bad idea, having a two day posting gap every weekend.

Hello patrons! Thanks for supporting me this month! I'm not sure I would have made it this far without knowing I had people out there who liked my writing enough to offer me a bit of financial support!
