February Progress Report

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share one last general update before the actual release of House Chores v1.0 is ready to go!

== v1.0 Progress ==

Progress on the update is going very well! Most of the art is complete and development has been going quite well too. I've been splitting my time between new content while also going back and adding some improvements or small changes to older moments in the game.

In total, there are 3 new full NSFW scenes that I hope add a satisfying conclusion to different storylines/aspects of the game.

Keep in mind, even though this is the v1.0 update, I still have plans to release an epilogue update at a later time. I'd like to explore the house a little more after the final scene's events, so another update feels like it'll be a necessity!

== Release Window ==

I was hoping to squeeze v1.0's release date into February but I knew that might be pushing it a little.

However, March still feels like a very realistic goal and so I anticipate the game should be ready to launch within about a month from now! Early or Mid-March is when you should be able to expect the release!

I will update you all with an official release date announcement in the next couple of weeks once the art is fully completed!

== Pricing & Discounts ==

As a reminder for the pricing, v1.0 will launch over on the House Chores itch page for a one-time $8 purchase. After buying it, future updates will be free so long as you re-download through the same account.

For a limited time, $5+ HC Patrons will be able to download the v1.0 update on itch if they link their itch account to their Patreon account. This way, you can get the game at a discounted price! This deal will go live the same day the update releases.

== Setting Expectations ==

I do have one concern that I wanted to address here.

I've seen a few comments asking about pregnancy content. If you're unaware from my previous titles, I'm not a big fan of pregnancy content (I don't mind impregnation, however) so I typically don't include it in my games. That doesn't mean it won't ever happen but do not expect it in this v1.0 update.

An important reason for that is because I do have plans to continue the stories for these characters in the future! The epilogue update should hint at those plans ;)

(Maybe the pregnancy comments were a ruse to get me to leak my future ideas...?)
