Wow! I thought this episode would be easier on a second watch! It still made me cry! π But congratulations on making it through episode 6, PD π Also, grown eun-myeong actually appeared in episode 2. The first scene that showed Moon Sori as older Aesun and IU as grown Geum-myeong. π

I also loved the throwback scenes, especially with Aesun's mom telling her how life goes on, there's so much foreshadowing in earlier episodes leading up to this. Just last episode we had Aesun's grandma telling her how losing a child is always a pain in someone's heart that you can't overcome while losing a parent is something we learn to live with. I just love the storytelling on this show so much, they really know how to portray live and all its aspects in the perfect way.

2025-09-02 17:05:01 +0000 UTCI'm rewatching this, so as soon as the episode started, i knew what was coming. But I started crying when everyone in the village started looking for the kid, the sense of community was heartwarming, but knowing what was coming made it all the more heartbreaking for some reason. On a lighter topic, i have massive respect for the the actor that plays geum-myeong's bf/ex-bf character. We have seen him before in Imitation where he played the cool-guy role, on this show his character is a bit more cutesy, and then on another show (which i'm hoping you will watch, i voted for it in the poll) his character is the complete opposite. He gave me whiplash.

2025-08-31 00:57:01 +0000 UTCYeah this is one of the episodes I was not looking forward to rewatching, idek if I can yet I feel like Iβll be sad for the next week, all I can say is that it was done incredibly well, and would make any person cryβand any time they touch on this in future episodes itβs always a knife right to the heart; there was also part of me as a viewer that kept thinking would they tell a story like this? Would they actually go through with this incredibly dark moment? Hoping they would have a movie moment or itβd be a brush with death that would still be traumatizing β but thatβs not this show, this story is capture of life in all aspects no matter how real it gets
