Apparently he left JYP for Giriboy (prob spelled that wrong) Idk why JYP took so long to debut them. I’m just glad to see him again. He was my bias from the JYP boys

2025-08-25 20:31:17 +0000 UTCKim Dong Hyun is “too much of a real rapper” to be in WakeOne’s boy group/making it far in an Mnet show… 🫤🫤 I was curious about Yusen, because he was not known prior to this show. He seems to be good at dancing and rapping. Like lead dancer and lead rapper position, although it depends who else would be a dancer in the next P Nation boy group, since Koki is gone, he might be the main dancer. They have good chemistry together! Unfortunatelly their screen time for their performance was super short and I cannot even find it on YouTube. I am either dumb or Mnet did not even bother to upload it. Something in me wonders whether YunSeo does not want to switch to P Nation if he does not make it here. Because after Nowz I doubt Cube is planning to debut a boy group any time soon. I mean… look at the gap between Pentagon and Nowz… And YunSeo seems to have the “PSYness” in him (now after he has grown up) and he would fit perfectly to a group with Dong Hyun and Yunsen. Actually even them 3 together would be very cool trio. A rapper (Dong Hyun), a dancer and rapper/partially vocalist (Yusen) and a vocalist and dancer (YunSeo). (And of course I would not mind at all if they reached out to Koki to suggest him to come back to lead this group, just sayin’ 💅🏽💅🏽)

2025-08-25 19:22:38 +0000 UTCThe show is suffering from the amount of contestants, at this point in the show we already had an idea of at least the characters of who ended up being top 30 of boys planet, and as a viewer of all the other produce 101 series, it’s coming off messy—not that they’re doing anything insanely different, editing is still basically the same, contestants still have a range of skills and star power as past seasons I would argue—I think we don’t get the TIME to spend with the contestants and they’re getting less and less freedom to choose their audition songs; some people say Mnet knew all along they’d have to merge (I have my doubts and think it’s completely plausibly they got arrogant and approved things for the sake of the possible profit and not the actual feasibility of maintaining a two separate program concept) either way, it feels like we already are so many episodes in and there are so many people that I’m like WHO ARE YOU, or the ones they keep showing all the time I’m so not attached to because we only get parts of their psyche or interview because the show thought it was a good idea to cast twice the contestants, I can’t even feel anything for eliminated contestants because I have no clue who they are except for the ones I already know. Again, where is the heart? Concepts and key words will only cover so much, the new set is cool but it made me feel NOTHING and the show has yet to show me why I should be emotionally invested or empathize with the heart break or victory—they will never do it, BUT if they want to turn things around they need to go bare bones like complete 180, get so transparent about the process and a survival show that it’s uncomfortable i would be really interested in a show produced like that that actually takes risks on the format we’ve seen a thousand times now; also side note, they don’t have a permanent planet master that could add consistency to the story or have any care/real advice towards the contestants, I think it’s a huge mis step that they couldn’t cast for that, not that I don’t like the guest planet masters but they have no clue who theses trainees are. idk if in 4 or 5 years if they do boys planet III I will watch, and I’m afraid they will course correct too hard on the next girls planet and the girls get the short end of the stick again

2025-08-25 19:21:02 +0000 UTCA point I’m seeing a lot that I agree with is, the editors love to use Seo Won as a talking head or for a reaction clip, but if you’re going to use him so much then add the actual performance you know? They don’t show his audition, they barely show him in the mission performances, it’s really disappointing that they’ve just already decided which contestants they want to follow but even for the mission songs it would barely focus on him or when they’re doing the pre performance flashbacks he’s always an assistant or side contestant to another’s contestants highlight—Seo Won has been doing well and I understand you can’t focus on everybody (also my major complaint of this show, if you have so many contestants you can’t get attached to any of them) but even on a base level of context, we know who Seo Won is so it’s nice to see his reaction but if this is a viewer’s first time seeing him? They know nothing and would be confused bc the show literally didn’t show who he is, Seo Won is still my one pick, I hope we get more performance close ups for him

2025-08-25 17:33:20 +0000 UTCLove Kany, she is a bright light in this show, she never lets mistakes go by and is a serious teacher but she still has a positive energy that I feel is good to have in a survival show; love Kany in general! For those who don’t know, she’s a Franco-Senegalese dancer who has fame in global competitions especially with Afro dance and getting a big rise through being selected by Beyoncé for her choreo; now Kany has also been a long time SHAWOL and started working with Key and Shinee for a while, she’s a “successful fan” bc now her and Key are legitimate besties; Kany may also be recognizable now to a lot of people for her work with VIVIZ particularly for her viral MANIAC choreography, she now works with VIVIZ very closely as well
