While it feels way too early to call a shift in generations or anything I do think we are seeing an interesting shift in musical focal point for debuts from later 5th gen groups especially with Cortis and idntt. It feels like we are getting further away from the corporate or packaged Kpop aesthetic as you said I am super excited to see where it goes 👀

I just watched this interview where Martin ( super talk blond) said they were tryna delve into psychedelic rock. Outside of Kpop and besides rap that's the only other genre I listen to. So when I heard this it hit me in like a completely diff way that I don't expect from Kpop and sounded so much like so of my fav alt artists.
