2025-08-18 22:55:17 +0000 UTCIkalgo is like Falco (Shingeki no Kyojin) of this show… it makes you ask: “Why the hell do they make this innocent character go through all of this?” There is something beautiful about this aspect like having this kind of character in an arc like this. I mean, Kurapika is still my favorite character of this show, but Ikalgo is apparently joining the club of my favorite characters too!

My boy literally electrified his own body into autopilot, relying purely on reflexes to attack in Godspeed—and he’s just a kid! He basically turned himself into a FromSoftware boss like reacting to his opponent’s aggression automatically. So freaking cool, btw. Youpi is on another level of beast!! Each of the King’s Royal Guards embodies a different aspect of power: Youpi is all muscle, Pitou is raw animalistic instinct, and Pouf is more of an advisor like a mind-manipulator type. And they’re ALL insanely powerful. Queen devoured an entire nation just to give birth to them. So just imagine the King’s raw power… ehehhe. Little tease for you :D I’m baffled that we haven’t even begun Palm’s arc yet. Has it really been more than 10 years for me? My memory’s hazy, but this fight feels even longer than I remember—and trust me, my memory already had it down as a long-ass fight.
