For me it's just sangwon, leo, and nian boheng- I feel like this season does not have a lot of people that are specialized in specific fields besides dancing, there aren't a lot of vocalists and there definitely aren't a ton of rappers, most of them are just average in everything so I don't feel to attached or attracted to most of them so besides who I previously named- I barely care about anyone else 😭 at least with last season there was so much talent from so many people it felt HARD to choose. This time around, idk, I'm just pretty underwhelmed. Especially in the vocal field bc all the people I thought were good got no screen time and got eliminated...so I'm interested but a little worried to see the final group tbh

Like last season any combination of the top 18 could have made it imo and it would have been a great group (with hanbin and hao in at least lol)

2025-08-21 00:51:19 +0000 UTCI think Sangwon just completely hard carried this team tbh, his stage presence and dancing was a league above the rest of the group which is concerning when they are supposed to be the best. I think so far the ones I am actually impressed with are lower in ranking. For example Junseo, I am a fan of his acting, I enjoyed his drama very much but I am disappointed in his performance. I think it just doesn't feel like hes putting his all into it? I felt the same in his audition and the HolaSolar performance. I'm sure hes not thinking like this but as a watcher i feel like hes saying "I don't have to work as hard because ill get in based on my popularity" which is crazy to see for me because there are so many idols/actors on the past shows who had the popularity but still tried their hardest like Hwi, Yujin, Jiwoongi. Even in this season alone, I feel like there is a show in that where some of the VeriVery members are obviously trying their hardest but the MCND members don't appear to be doing so. Unfortunately appearence is reality in things like this, so if its not shown onstage or in the background thats that. To me Gunwoo, Chingyu, Anxin all feel like what they are, trainees who are still learning and trying their best. For Yumeki... i'm still kinda confused why hes here? But thats probably just me. Leo I worry about, I think hes talented and a great vocalist but when it comes down to the end and everyone only has one pick I worry how many people will choose him over Sangwon. Yoonmin has been someone I've followed since Loud and I just want him to do whatever he wants to do, I think he just knows there is no hope but is enjoying his time with the people there. I would love for him to be able to show off a bit more but who knows we will see!

2025-08-16 13:40:18 +0000 UTCI like Anxin and he has a strong aura, but I feel like he still needs to work on his facial expressions. At the moment, he has been pulling off concepts with his cold look/aura, but I wish we could see more facial expressions, otherwise, to me, he sometimes looks a bit too stiff and is not reflecting the song as well… it’s more like he fits the song rather than embodies it. Would love to see his growth through this show, because ai am rooting for him as well. It would be really cool to see Anxin and Sangwon do a bubbly/happy concept - would be a good challenge and test of their versatility.

For the first time since produce101 S1… I haven’t felt the need to make a “lineup” This season feels so unimpressive to myself personally and the skills set shown outside of those 3, has left alot to be desired. Whereas BoysPlanet last season, we had TOO MUCH talent. I had top5 must, a one pick and 15 other potentials… this season I’m only hoping for 3 members and the other 5 I’m not going to lie, I could not care for who makes it.

A main vocal material, love his voice. I can also imagine if sangwon makes it and leo not, sangwon will definitely leave the group, he joined the show just for leo and to debut with him, he didn't had a goal at all, his goal is to debut with leo if that doesn't work then he might leave :/ Axin is a good performer has the idol quality, facial expression/charm needs a bit improvements but they are there. Like I said on my previous post comment in studio Choom, I'm not found of Geonwoo hes bland, no star/idol aura decent singer/dancer/rapper but then sometimes those things needs to be in kpop as well and thats for me Junseo, Junseo seems to be bland/natural as well but it screams with star/charm power which Geonwoo doesnt have at all. So Junseo to be in the group is balanced. Not perfect and not bad either. He's in the middle. My Whiplash ranking: 1. Sangwon 2. Leo 3. Axin 4. Junseo 5. Geonwoo 6. Chingyu 7. Yumeki 8. Yoonmin

I also think Geonwoo's words played a role: "Believe only me, and until the end" Whether to believe him or not is for each person to decide. But I think his rating will rise next week. There are a lot of his fans here, especially in Korea.

Im like 85% certain that sangwon is gonna debut and im really happy about tht cus he really caught my eye early on along with leo, but i'm actually not voting for him because he is so popular and i want to use my vote towards others who i admire just as much if not more, like leo and xinlong

2025-08-16 01:33:11 +0000 UTCFor me personally I prefer the bp ver most, this might be influenced by how much I've watched their individual fancams however, then the studio choom then mcount. Sangwon actually became my 1 pick through the fancams because he always seems "on" while dancing and I found moments where expression-wise he really blew others out the water (in particular during Anxin's vocal part when they're rising?) I think Anxin's my 2 but I also don't think he could 100% vocal carry the group, kinda like a Han/Seungmin situation in my mind given how high his voice is I do think it needs some balance on the team. I think my big problem with Geonwoo, putting the scandal aside, is that I'm not really charmed by his voice like I am by some of the other participants (like Hengyu, Leo, Woojin, Anxin, or even Sangwon). Also I'm a little concerned for the lack of rappers in top 8, I think its kind of just Xin Long and while I am voting for him it's kinda hard to only have 1 out of 8 rap.

I 100% agree that the star power on this season is lackluster compared to s1 and it would’ve felt alot worse without them. Its crazy how much Sangwon feels like a long-lost Enhypen member to me. Leo was a full-fledged artist in BI’s label so not even surprised. I actually have a conflicted opinion about Geunwoo. I see all the talent and visuals but I have the same comment as the judges in his audition - his desperation and intensity came off on stage and it didn’t feel fitting for the song to me. Zhou An Xin has everything, just needs more stage experience which is the same for almost everyone this season especially.

2025-08-16 00:07:37 +0000 UTCi see where you're coming from with geonwoo just in the last frame you paused on! he has an unassuming coolness but i think its a very niche avenue for a performer. unfortunately i'm not sold on him. there is a really fine line between it working for him and it being bland that he treads very thinly, and it's very concept dependent. here, it worked in his favour whereas he couldn't capture the freshness and energy in sweat. i'm also kind of nitpicky since he has a scandal and isn't a yumeki or leo in dancing/singing :') i also think junseo is good - he shines the most as a leader than a performer though ! the cha eunwoo and hwang minhyun comparison is very apt for him. he's solid but he has a ceiling to how crazy he can go. i think what is missing for me when i look at junseo and then eunwoo/minhyun is probably the flower boy aspect where their reserved energy shines the most. i feel like it enables them to perform such concepts effortlessly. junseo is mostly denoted to having a sexy concept - he is often depicted as a toned down jiwoong especially with the bl comparisons - so i wonder how he would do in brighter concepts. he's not in my debut lineup yet but he's more likely to debut than some of my picks so i hope he does well. i think this might be anxin's best performance for me, not just because of his vocals but his overall stage presence! however, i prefer the b2p stage as a whole... sangwon was just tooooo good - he was amazing here too but seeing him serve like that for the first time was unmatched! i love how he dances very big yet very controlled.

2025-08-16 00:00:43 +0000 UTCThe person who stood out to me in this performance was Leo (vocals are crazy), in the studio Cheom Sangwoon and Junseo with their charismatic presence. And I agree with you about Anxin, he's great like 10/10 but not unforgettable, he gave a perfect performance skill wise but that's it, his presence is kind of passive, lacking a bit of charm that we hope he will unlock in future missions. As for Junwoo, there's something weird and awkward about him in the stage, he seems a bit bland, I don't find him attractive or eye-catching, even in terms of skills he doesn't stand out much. The only thing that kind of scares me is the chance of Leo not debuting because I know there's a high chance people won't vote for him when it comes to the final vote. I like Sangwon (I know he'll 100% debut, since day one, and time is proving it) but if Leo doesn't debut, I'm afraid I won't stan the final group and be just a passive listener (the thing that happened to me in Boys Planet, even after seeing my one pick Gunwook and one of my favs Taerae debuting, but I wasn't convinced by some of the other members, in terms of talent and style - it's just my personal opinion - but luckily all of my favorite members debuted in EVNNE <3). So hopefully Leo can debut, he deserves more attention, and I'm saying this because a lot of the people voting for him right now are either TraineeA fans or Sangwon fans he needs more hardcore / solo fans to vote for him in the final.

I wish Yumeki could’ve had a bigger part because at least dance-wise, he’d serve so hard. I only wish Xin Long could’ve been in this group even if he doesn’t completely fit the concept because he’s another I’m hoping can debut.
