shinee is so strong as a group because in a lot of what they do, they exercise (almost forcefully even 😂😂) their creative liberty, & excuse my french but they know they’re the shit. they know they’re a powerhouse of massive, but different talents & they will force their team to play on their strengths! each member also has a specific skill they’re suuuuper good at. like you said, taemin often has a vision and is hyperaware of what messages he want to convey to his audience and what to do to convey them efficiently. key on the other hand is very visually creative & hypercritical of details in a perfectionist manner, like in an almost a pain in the ass way (i say as i’ve worked with ppl like key, very headstrong, but will ALWAYS get you the results) 😂😂 onew may seem mild mannered but he’s also LOCKED IN esp when it comes to shinee’s vocals. he fills every void bec he genuinely has the talent to do so. onew is a big part of the “shinee sound” (as well as jonghyun before his passing) that ppl are so familiar with bec his voice is so unique! then you have minho who corrals everyone together. when everyone in your group is a pain in the ass, you need to be a bigger pain in the ass who will bring everyone together. he genuinely is the glue that holds the group together atp. he makes it a point to support everyone’s project even to his own detriment sometimes. whenever a member is having a solo concert, you can bet minho will be there 😂

Very excited for those listening parties, it's been a while I've listened to Jonghyun's music so it's gonna be an interesting experience to go back in time and relisten to his songs again. Also, if you want more recording behinds with "seasoned" idols I definitely recommend to check out GOT7's WINTER HEPTAGON Recording behind. This has to be my favorite one from all the recordings I've seen so far. Seeing them direct each other and all the interactions between the members was just so much fun. Jinyoung got me dead every time he would pop out on the screen lol. He was really feeling himself this comeback
