K-POP DEMON HUNTERS
Added 2025-06-30 22:38:33 +0000 UTCHeyo! I'm curious if people would want me to do a reaction and review discussion for the new Netflix animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters.
I remember watching the trailer when it first dropped and I actually thought it was pretty hype. A few Patrons have suggested it and I'm hearing it has pretty favorable reviews and has a pretty high 97% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes.
I'm always curious to see when Hollywood and not Korea does a Korean culture related project, and even more so curious when it's K-Pop.

2025-07-11 22:09:15 +0000 UTCNot sure if anyone mentioned it, but they used mostly Korean/Korean-American VA's for the cast even for the original English voices! As far as I'm aware, Lee Byunghun and Ahn Hyoseop worked on both the English version and the Korean dub, and I actually prefer their voice acting in English. I think the directing for the Korean dub was different? Not sure. I like both versions, to be clear! But I'd recommend maybe watching it in English first, then Korean if you want to see the differences! I think for the rest of the cast, the VA's are different between the English and the dub, though.
