Lumina: Corporate Lobby Atrium

Dimensions - [20x28] squares

Image resolution - 4000 x 5600 px

DPI - 200

Introduction

”The corporate lobby opens into a bright atrium, its vast glass façade revealing the elevator shaft rising like a polished spine through the building. Daylight pours in, reflecting off the white-and-gold trim that gives the entire space an ultra-modern shine. An L-shaped staircase climbs to the second level, and beneath it lie a few quiet meeting areas—low sofas, round tables, and soft lighting arranged for conversations meant to look casual but never truly private.

Executives move with deliberate calm, and security drones hover silently near the ceiling, tracking everything with corporate patience. And just as you step inside, you can’t shake the feeling that this pristine calm is holding its breath—right before something big hits the fan.”

Hi everyone!

I’m excited to bring to you “Lumina”. I hope you’ll all be able to put this battle map to good use within your campaigns.

It has been years since I drew a lobby map (see the previous version) and I figured it was about due time for an updated version that is a little bit more intricate, more updated and inline with my current art style and has ties to more of my current battle maps.

In terms of narrative connections, this corporate atrium map will work well with the these past battle maps:

If you come across other map connections, please let me know in the comments below! Now, here are the map variants.

Map Variants

Status: Night

After hours, the atrium drops into a rare kind of quiet—the kind that feels illegal in Night City. The glass façade reflects nothing but the neon haze outside, and the white-and-gold trim glows soft and sleepy under low-power lighting. Only one security guard wanders the floor, boots echoing like lonely gunshots as he makes his rounds. No drones, no crowds, no corpo eyes. Just silence… and opportunity. If you’re going to slip in—or vanish without a trace—this is the kind of moment Night City hands you once, then never again.

Status: Lockdown

The lobby plunges into crimson. Red LEDs blaze along every edge as alarms scream—lockdown engaged. Shadows twist, and the quiet night just got deadly.

Gun Turrets

Wall panels flip open and security gun turrets pop out on opposite walls. These turret tiles are provided in both night time and day time variants.

Catch you guys at the end of the month for the next map release!

Basement Utilities Room

Map dimensions - [12 x 17] grid squares

Image resolution - 2400 x 3400 px

DPI - 200

“Beneath a crumbling apartment block, the utilities room sweats under the relentless pulse of Night City. Steam leaks from rusted pipes, casting ghosts in the flickering neon that filters down through a cracked vent. The air hums with static—half from the power grid, half from whatever’s hiding behind the fuse panels.

Along one wall, a row of ancient washing machines and dryers still stand, their chrome dulled to gray and coin slots jammed with dust. Sometimes one of them groans and shakes, spinning long-forgotten laundry no one will ever claim. Down here, where the city’s glow can’t reach, every clang and hiss feels like the building remembering its own decay.”

Hi all,

For this month’s second map, we’re diving into a basement utilities room. Packed with electrical panels, water heaters, ventilation shafts, and laundry stations, it’s a compact space—but one that can spark some really intriguing scenarios.

What’s more, this location can easily tie into several of my other battle maps, creating opportunities for connected narratives and layered gameplay. See the following links:

The Map Variants

Elevator Shaft

This variant transforms the dark passageway extending from the utilities room into a service elevator.

High-tech Passage

A section of air vents slides open with a hiss, revealing a narrow passage that hums with strange energy, sleek and impossibly advanced against the decay around it. Where it leads… nobody can say.

Flooded Basement

A hot water tank bursts, sending a relentless stream flooding the basement. Water laps at rusted switch boxes and tangled wiring, turning the floor into a mirror of chaos. Every spark, every drip, feels like a countdown.

Electronics Repair Workshop

Dimensions - (10 x 8) grid squares

DPI - 200

Image resolution - 2000 x 1600 px

“Rumors say old man Chen doesn’t just fix electronics—he resurrects the forbidden. The front of the shop looks tiny and cluttered, a façade of harmless clutter, but the back hides corridors of stacked crates, humming generators, and half-disassembled cybernetic limbs. Faint neon flickers through cracked windows, illuminating solder smoke curling like ghosts around ancient monitors and broken holo-frames.

No one asks questions. Customers who come here know the risk: a “repair” might leave you with something more than you bargained for—an arm that moves too fast, a neural implant that whispers secrets, a device that remembers things you wish it wouldn’t. In Night City, ordinary decay has teeth, and in Chen’s workshop, every object hums with potential chaos.”

Hey guys,

Here’s a brand new mini location for you - an electronics repair workshop. This is place is a jack-of-all trades kind of repair shop that specializes in all sorts of gadgetry and electronics, including cybernetics. It isn’t high-end and instead has an old-world type of charm.

There are a few other battle maps that I have created in the past that lead on to this particular location. The locations listed below all have some small shop fronts that are ambiguous looking, which will easily allow you to narratively slot in this electronics repair shop.

Here are the ones that come to mind:

I hope you guys will have fun with this one. Looking forward to hearing how you’ll be integrating this battle map into future scenarios!

Here are the map variants…

Map Variants

Closed Shop

Night falls. The main roller shutter clatters down, sealing the workshop from the street. Dust floats in the last shafts of neon light. The old repairman has gone home, leaving the tools scattered across the counters, the hum of a dying generator the only sound.

Spider Drone Repair

On the central workbench, a high-tech military-grade spider drone lies legs dismantled. Its sleek black armor is scratched, wires protruding like exposed veins, servos twitching involuntarily.

Its presence in this ordinary workshop is an anomaly — scavenged from corporate warfare or stolen from a private security fleet perhaps? The faint pulse of its sensors blinks red, scanning the room…

Military Transport Crate

A massive military-style crate sits in the back corner, its surface scarred and dented as if it has already survived battle. From a small opening near the top, a single red glow pulses like an unblinking eye, cutting through the shadows of the workshop.

The seal has been partially broken, but nothing inside is visible—only that glow, steady and deliberate, that suggests whatever rests within is aware. The air feels heavier near the crate, tinged with the faint smell of ozone and burnt circuits, as if the contents are waiting, calculating, and dangerous.

Magazine Publishing House

“You step into the clean, pristine office space, nodding to the worker bees pecking at their keyboards as the background hum of computers and the overworked AC fills the air. The place smells faintly of ink and hot paper, the kind of scent that clings to deadlines. As you weave through rows of desks stacked with glossy proofs and half-drained coffee cups, cameras and eyeballs swivel to follow your path. It could just be security, or the magnetic arrival of someone new—but the stares, human and mechanical, feel sharpened.

The keyboards click too quickly, the rhythm frantic, desperate—like the pages of an issue being written in one fevered breath. Bold and bewildering text flickers across the screens: headlines, fragments of slogans, layouts that fracture and reform in an instant. There’s no playful chatter about cover shoots or pull quotes, only the relentless hum pressing in. You let your eyes linger too long on one monitor and catch numbers flashing over what looks like a photo of shallow graves—before the screen resets to a bright, cheerful spread on backyard gardening.

A printer groans to life, coughing out a freshly laid-out article, its colors too crisp, its images too immaculate. A worker snatches the page, pins it with unnatural force to a corkboard already cluttered with glowing mock-ups and proofs, all while their gaze remains locked on you. The hum of the office is rising, deepening—no longer just background noise, but a droning buzz that fills your head like static . . .”

~ SlappinFace

Hey guys,

Here’s the second map of the month: the Magazine Publishing House. Big thanks to “Luke The GM” for sparking this idea.

This battle map channels those classic office vibes—but with a twist. Instead of a standard workspace, it represents one of the city’s most renowned indie publishing houses: Chrome Press.

It’s a versatile backdrop—perfect for launching a new narrative arc, or as a place your players stumble into where their unique skills are suddenly in demand (a break-in investigation mission).

I’ve also kept the design and look of this interior space intentionally flexible, so you can easily adapt it as a more typical office setting for your campaigns if you want.

Map Variants

Break-in

Papers scatter the floor like a snowdrift of secrets, chairs knocked askew and drawers yanked wide, their contents gutted. It isn’t chaos for chaos’ sake—whoever tore through this place wasn’t staging a warning. They were hunting. And whatever they were after, it had them ripping the office apart right down to the last paperclip.

Sending a Message

The front entrance screams trouble—graffiti sprawled across the wall in jagged strokes, a warning or a curse. Chairs lie on their backs like broken limbs, kicked aside in a rush.

And there, dumped on the couch like a gift no one wants to open, sits a package slick with dried blood. It waits, patient and ugly, for the first unlucky soul to touch it.

Hidden Evidence

One of the side rooms hides its secret in plain sight. Beneath a polished rug, the floor gives way to a recessed metal safe—old but sturdy, bolted deep into the concrete. Inside, the journalists tuck away their most dangerous cargo: damning files, a stealth drone, maybe even a shard too hot to touch. Easy to overlook, unless you know exactly where to peel back the rug.

That’s it for now folks. Keen to hear how you’re going to use this space!

Public Toilets

Dimensions - [10 x 10] grid squares

Image resolution - 2000 x 2000 px

DPI - 200

“The stink of cheap synth-liquor and old sweat clings to the air. Neon light bleeds through the cracked tiles, painting graffiti-smeared stalls in sickly colors. The floor is sticky, the sinks barely holding together, and the whole place feels like it’s holding its breath.

Somewhere deep in the walls, a low, steady thump reverberates—dull, relentless, like a heartbeat you can’t shut out. A junkie twitches by the door, half-conscious, while two figures linger at the sinks with no intention of washing up. The stalls hide more than cracked porcelain, and the only way out runs past the red glow of the exit. The rhythm grows heavier, and you can feel it: something’s about to snap.”

Hey all!

It has arrived a little late this month but here’s the new battle map - The Public Toilets!

I was thinking this could be a cool battle map for you guys to run with because these sorts of grimy, filth-ridden toilets can be found everywhere and can easily be inserted into a multitude of story arcs and scenarios.

If I recall correctly, the following are the maps I’ve created in the past where these public toilets can connect to quite seamlessly:

If I’ve missed any, please do let me know!

Map Variants

Something’s Leaking

A janitor’s trolley squats in the middle of the room, mop dangling like a forgotten limb. The floor around it is slick with a shallow pool of murky water, rippling with every vibration of that distant, relentless thump. A dripping sound comes from the direction of an old rusty water heater nearby. Whatever’s leaking isn’t slowing down, and the stench rising from it says anyone careless enough to slip here won’t get back up clean.

Abandoned Briefcase

The stall door hangs just slightly ajar, graffiti scrawled across the metal. Perched on the stained toilet seat, untouched and out of place, sits a metallic attaché case. Its surface catches the fluorescent glow, gleaming like bait in a shark tank. No lock visible, no owner in sight—just waiting for the first hand bold or desperate enough to grab it.

Air Vent Stash

One of the vent grates lies on the floor, screws scattered like teeth. Inside the dark cavity of the duct, a leather bag rests snug between the slats. It’s too clean, too deliberate, tucked away like a secret meant to be found—or fought over. Whoever stashed it probably plans on coming back.

I hope you like this one guys. Let me know how you plan on inserting this public toilets battle map into your own story arcs. Keen to hear some stories.

"Patch & Go" - Minute Clinic

Dimensions - [9 x 12] grid squares

Image resolution - 1800 x 2400 px

DPI - 200

“Neon flickers off the glass of the “Patch & Go Minute Clinic”, casting sharp pink and green shadows down the narrow alley. It’s 3 a.m., and the hum of generators mixes with the distant wail of sirens. Inside, a lone cyber-doc in a sleek lab coat scrolls through a cracked holo-tablet while a jittery netrunner limps in, arm sparking from a botched augment. No appointments. No guarantees. Pay, patch, leave — fast, cheap, and always on the move. Outside, the neon sign buzzes: “Patch & Go: Your health, on demand.”

In addition to urgent care, the clinic doubles as a pharmacy. Rows of glowing shelves hold pre-packaged meds, stim-packs, and DIY augment repair kits. The cyber-doc can sell you everything from painkillers to synthetic blood boosters, no questions asked — a convenient stop for street samurais, netrunners, and anyone who needs supplies at odd hours.”

Hi guys,

To close off the month of August, I present to you the Patch & Go “Minute Clinic”.

In the world of cyberpunk, these ****minute clinics are basically an urgent-care or walk-in medical shop that is fast, cheap, not entirely sanitary. You go in for quick fixes:

  • patching bullet grazes,

  • replacing a fried neural jack,

  • cheap cyberware installs,

  • synth-skin over a bad burn.

It’s transactional medicine: no paperwork, cash/crypto up front, no questions asked. The doc might be a licensed surgeon or just someone with steady hands and a used med-bot.

Map Variants

Emergency Surgery

Robotic arms dart over the patient, scalpels flashing, cauterizers hissing as they fight to clamp the bleeding before the vitals flatline. From the side console, the surgeon’s eyes lock on the monitor, issuing frantic overrides—one wrong lag, and the red tide wins.

Medical Cabinet Raid

The clinic’s wall-sized med cabinet hangs open, shelves stripped bare—empty vials, snapped blister packs, and torn stim wrappers litter the floor. Someone hit it hard and fast, leaving only broken locks and the faint chemical tang of stolen meds.

Security Shutters

Gunfire hammered the metal shutters of Patch & Go, sparks spraying into the clinic as robotic arms worked frantically over their bleeding comrade, vitals spiking dangerously close to flatline. The crew held their ground in the flicker of muzzle flashes, every dent in the steel a reminder that if the shutters gave, they’d all be next on the table.

That’s all for now folks! I hope you enjoy this one and find plenty of exciting scenarios to use this battle map in. Let me know down in the comments below if you have plans for this Minute Clinic in the near-term.

The Studio Apartment

Dimensions - [12 x 8 ] grid squares

Image resolution - 2400 x 1600 px

DPI - 200

“A small studio apartment comprising a single living area and kitchen (possibly with a bathroom). This is far from luxurious living, with lighting that conveys a solemn mood—as if the space exists merely for survival. The atmosphere is sad and dystopian, devoid of color or personality, much like everywhere else in this Cyberpunk city.

The space looks like it was made for minimalistic living. The only signs of life here would be the small items strewn around the apartment that add that tiny bit of chaos (such as some magazines or books, a standalone plate left over from last night’s dinner, some abstract looking gadgets, loose wires etc).

The bed is little more than a slab folded from the wall, and the kitchenette looks like it was installed as an afterthought. Every surface whispers “bare minimum.”

Hey guys,

Here is the first map drop for the month of August! I hope you like this small studio apartment that was highly inspired by the movie Blade Runner 2049.

I tried to capture as much likeness as I could to the movie set but added my own small tweaks as you will later notice. The part that was important to me was that those of you who are fans of the Blade Runner franchise, recognize this location.

Here is my preliminary sketch of the space before I painted and rendered all the details.

The reason I wanted to draw a space like Officer K's apartment because dystopian living quarters such as this can be found everywhere in Cyberpunk. Heck, you can even use this alongside the Arcology Series of maps that I created a while back. Clue finding, raids, murder scene investigations, safe house - the list goes on. I am sure you guys have tons more ideas on how to utilize this map than I do.

Map Variants

Wall Fold Out Bed

The space-saving bed folds out from the wall.

She's Dead

A different battle map variant depicting a female murder victim on blood soaked sheets.

Breach!

A wall is breached from the adjacent apartment via a shaped charge, allowing for an alternative entry/exit options.

Underseat Protocol

The couch cushions are lifted to reveal a hidden cache of hard drives and assault weapons.

And… that’s all for now folks. Stay tuned for the next map. It’s gonna be a ripper!

Do let me know what your plans are for this studio apartment battle map. I am genuinely curious to know.

Cafe Zero

Dimensions - [14 x 9] grid squares

Image resolution - 2800 x 1800 px

DPI - 200 DPI

“Tucked away beneath the flickering neon wash of Kabuki’s side streets, Cafe Zero is a tight, glass-walled capsule of calm in the storm that is Night City. With marble-top tables, chrome-legged stools, and a ceiling of warm wood and lowlight strips, it’s the kind of place where runners recharge, corpo interns decompress, and net-jockeys sip synth-lattes while quietly patching their ICE.

The espresso’s real—if you know who to ask—and the baristas don’t care what you’re running, as long as you don’t bleed on the floorboards. Ambient lo-fi hums beneath the dull hiss of steaming milk, and the whole joint smells like citrus cleaner, ozone, and just a trace of gun oil. Whether you’re laying low or jacking in, Cafe Zero is where you wait out the heat—with a double shot and a side of plausible deniability.”

Hi everyone!

Here we go, fresh out of the oven, the battle map to end the month - Cafe Zero.

To date, I have not yet drawn a cafe location and I figured this might be a great time to do it because of late, I have been inspired by this cafe that is about 5 minutes walk from my place in Adelaide, Australia. Here are some photos I took for reference.

This small, neat cafe provides the perfect spot for a caffeine hit in the near cyberpunk future where space comes at a premium.

This was an initial sketch I did of the premises based on the photo reference.

Map Variants

The Last Send

Bullets tear through the cramped neon-lit cafe, shredding tables and flipping chairs as chaos erupts. Shadows dart behind overturned furniture, every heartbeat syncing with the relentless gunfire. Amid the storm, a lone figure sits at a cafe table in the back, fingers flying over a laptop, racing to upload something vital the future of humanity before the assailants break through. Time bleeds out, and survival hinges on that desperate digital lifeline.

Small Office

A narrow flight of stairs at the back of the cafe leads up to this cramped office—a hidden hub where the owner handles business accounts and shuffles through paperwork.

This office can also be used as a standalone battle map and inserted whenever your story’s narrative calls for it.

Safe Breach

Your team arrives to find the safe tucked beneath the desk cracked open, its contents—critical evidence or ledgers—vanished without a trace. There’s no sign of forced entry or damage; this was a clean, professional job, executed with pinpoint precision.

Abandoned Parking Lot

Dimensions - [39 x 28] grid squares
Image resolution - 5460 x 3920 px

DPI - 140

Hey everyone,

It’s time for another battle map drop!

This time, I’m excited to share something that’s been on my mind for a while—an abandoned parking lot. I often go on walks through my city, and there’s this empty plot of land wedged between a few high-rises that always catches my eye.

That little space has been the seed of inspiration for this new map.

I’ve been wanting to add more open, minimal spaces to my map collection—places that feel simple on the surface but still connect narratively to the other locations I’ve created. This parking lot fits that concept perfectly.

The Safehouse

In the northeast corner of the lot, you’ll find a small building dimly lit by a lonely lamp, its rusted garage door half-illuminated. This is the Warehouse Safehouse. It’s a perfect spot for a last-stand scenario—or a fallback retreat if plans go sideways.

The Car Scrapyard

To the east lies the Car Scrapyard, but it could also be the Construction Site. I intentionally kept the area vague so you can mold it to suit your campaign’s scenario.  I've provided links to both of these battle maps.

Map Variants

The Meetup

Remember the mysterious black van from last month’s Under The Overpass map? Well, it’s back—this time parked ominously in the lot. What better place for a shady drop-off than a secluded, rundown parking lot?

Stripped for Parts

In one corner, a sleek, newer car lies under a weathered tarp—clearly abandoned and stripped for parts. I know many of you GM's can turn this hook into some crazy-cool narratives. I'd love to hear some your ideas in the comments below!

The Back Entrance

One map variant transforms the façade of an old building and adds the back entrance of a bar, which can be linked to the following bar maps:

As you can see, this parking lot really serves as a hub, linking many of my previously released battle maps together in a connected city. I hope you enjoy playing on this one. As always, I’d love to hear how your sessions go!

Under The Overpass

Dimensions - [39 x 28] grid squares

DPI - 140

Image resolution -   5460 x 3920 px

"Beneath the crumbling overpass of Sector 9-D, the air hangs heavy with moisture and exhaust. Neon reflections ripple across rain-slick asphalt, scattered by the broken lines of barricades and rusted fences. A tangle of tarp shelters and scrap-metal lean-tos cling to the massive concrete columns, home to the forgotten and the fringe. The silence is tense, broken only by the distant hiss of leaking pipes and the occasional cough from the shadows. A low, pulsing hum echoes from the storm drains below—too rhythmic to be runoff, too faint to be safe.

Rumors swirl of an unregistered AI node buried beneath the overpass, a remnant of a failed city surveillance upgrade—now awake and broadcasting distorted dreams into the minds of nearby squatters. Some say it’s calling for help. Others say it's hunting for something. Your client wants it offline. But between the unstable sleepers, territorial gang scouts, and the creeping wet darkness of the tunnels, you're not sure who’s watching whom. Something in the shadows just blinked. And it wasn’t human."

Hey folks,

I’m excited to unveil one of my favorite kinds of battle maps to create—gritty, narrative-driven spaces full of mood and mystery. "Under the Overpass" is a love letter to urban decay, inspired by suggestions from my amazing community on Discord and dripping with atmosphere.

This map dives into the forgotten arteries of the city —hidden from corp-drones and aerial patrols, where rules are optional and consequences come in the form of a knife in the dark.

While creating this piece, I found myself drawing subtle connections to a few of my earlier favorites:

See if you can trace the visual DNA across them all.

Map Variants

Crime Scene Investigation

Law enforcement finally arrives—24 hours late. Not because of surveillance, but thanks to a burner phone and an anonymous voice. A local celebrity’s been hit—and left to bleed beneath the overpass. The media’s in a frenzy, but the real question is: What the hell was a VIP doing down here?

Dumpster Body

The stench hits first. Then the flies. Deep in the green dumpster, hidden under old pizza boxes and street trash—what’s left of a man with no ID, no clothes, and no face anyone remembers. Something about it feels staged. Or maybe it’s a message.

Meet the Dealer

At 3:17 AM, a neon-pink kitty-patterned hatchback pulls up beside a matte-black van. No plates. No markings. Just the rhythmic clunk of duffel bags trading hands. After months of dead ends, could this be the infamous street chemist the cops have been hunting? Or just another decoy?

Thanks again for all your support people! Couldn't be doing this without y'all. Now head on down below and grab the map. Let me know how you plan to use this within your gaming groups. I'd love to hear all about it in the comments section below!

Seafood Packing Facility

Dimensions - [30 x 16] grid squares

DPI - 140

Image resolution -   4200 x 2240 px

"The air hangs heavy with the unmistakable tang of the sea—fish, brine, and the sharp sting of cleaning chemicals—a cocktail that clings to every surface and settles deep in the lungs. Workers move with practiced rhythm across damp concrete floors, their boots sliding just enough to demand constant attention. It’s a space built for efficiency, not comfort.

The soundscape is industrial and alive: the steady whine of saws, the slap of conveyor belts hauling silvery carcasses, the rattle of crates being stacked and sealed. Steam hisses from overhead vents, fogging up visors and blurring the edges of motion. Voices raise in short bursts—calls, instructions, maybe warnings—before disappearing into the clamor.

Faces behind smudged goggles and translucent caps move with quiet urgency, eyes trained forward, attention fixed. The work is relentless but familiar. And while it may seem like just another fish plant on the docks, the layers run deeper—just out of view, behind doors that don’t stay open long."

Hi guys,

I hope everyone's doing well! A few months back, I created The Marina battle map. Around this marina are a few industrial looking buildings, one of which is this Seafood Packing Facility battle map that I am presenting you with today.

What Goes On Here

This fish packing plant is where the ocean's daily catch is transformed from slippery chaos into neatly sealed product, ready for markets near and far.

Inside, the pace is brisk and the air electric—machines hum, ice crackles, and workers move with a practiced rhythm as fish are gutted, cleaned, flash-frozen or packed fresh in an almost balletic flow.

Beneath the fluorescent lights and cold steel tables, it's a race against time and temperature—a gritty, fast-moving operation that helps keep the docks alive and the seafood flowing.

A naked John Doe is found chained and suspended above ground in the freezer room.

Vague enough for you GM's to turn this in favor of your own narratives.

Sno In the Styro

Boxes of packaged fish (or so it seems), ready to go out for distribution. But some of the boxes a are filled with unknown packets of white "Sno", a street drug that has been all the range lately. Could this fish packing plant be the place of origin for "Sno"? Here is an underground drug lab to chain with this map, if you like this narrative.

Slippery Chaos

Stacked up boxes of Styrofoam filled with fresh seafood gets knocked over creating a hazard. There's fish everywhere and the floor is coated in slipper slime making combat just a little more tricky.

That's all for this battle map pack guys! Let me know down in the comments below how you plan to use this map. I get spurred on by your use cases and creativity.

Art Gallery Rooftop

Grid Dimensions - [39x28] squares

DPI - 140

Image resolution - 5460 x 3920 px

"Neon reflections shimmered across the rain-slick rooftop of the Eden Art Gallery, its angular skylight glowing faintly beneath the night sky. From the adjacent high-rise, a zipline whined taut as a shadowy figure zipped across, boots hitting the rooftop with a muted thud. A low hum from a hacked security drone confirmed the perimeter was clear. Kneeling by the skylight, the infiltrator tapped a neural implant—blueprints flickered across their HUD. One plasma cutter swipe, and the glass folded like paper. Below, laser grids danced over priceless pre-collapse artifacts. Showtime."

Hi guys,

Here’s the final battle map to close out the month of May: The Art Gallery Rooftop.

This location acts as a perfect connector to several previous maps, expanding the world and providing an exciting vertical layer to your heist missions.

Perched atop the Eden Art Gallery, this rooftop serves as the launch point for daring break-ins, with its central feature being a massive glass skylight—the perfect entry point for thieves to rappel through during a high-stakes infiltration. See the Eden Art Gallery battle map here.

My City For Inspiration

Here are a couple of photos I took from walking around in my city, the City of Adelaide, Australia. These 2 photos inspired the creation of this map. I hope you guys can see which elements I drew reference from?

Map Variants

Breaking In

One of the skylight's glass panels has been surgically removed and placed to one side. There's a bag of equipment on the ground and a rope that leads down into one of the art gallery's main showroom floors.

The Zip Line

A high-tension zip line stretches from the rooftop to a nearby structure—offering a fast escape route for rogues on the run or villains with a plan. That nearby building? It’s a commercial car park—which I have already created a battle map for: Parking Garage map.

Other maps of interest:

Cleaner's Scaffold Platform

Suspended from an enormous LED advertising sign, this narrow maintenance platform makes for a fantastic sniper nest or a secret perch for stealthy operatives. Perfect for setting the stage… or springing a trap.

The Helipad

A full-sized helicopter landing pad, ideal for those rare moments when a VIP arrives for a midnight private viewing—or for smuggling priceless artwork in and out under cover of darkness.

Hope you enjoy this battle map folks. Let me know how you go and if your players are planning on running a heist mission anytime soon!

Xenoform Research Lab

Dimension - [ 15 x 11] squares

Image resolution - 3000 x 2200 px

DPI - 200

"The swinging double doors groan as you push through, releasing a wave of antiseptic sting—bleach and sterile plastic clawing at your throat. Harsh white light flickers overhead, glinting off steel trays strewn with scalpels, coiled tubing, and restraints still bearing the ghost of struggle.

It's the silence that unsettles most. No whimpers, no scratching—just the hollow click of your shoes against tile, echoing down the rows of cages. Rabbits press into the corners of their hutches, trembling. Dogs curl tight as fists, ears flattened. In their wire prisons, rats pile atop one another, a living mass of fur and fear.

The walls glare back, pristine but for the occasional smear—rust-brown, faded cherry—where hurried hands missed a stain.

Then, a sound: footsteps. A tuneless whistle, sharp as a scalpel’s edge.

The animals erupt. Cages shudder, metal screeches, bodies hurl themselves against bars in a frenzy of claws and teeth. You freeze.

The doors swing open."

~ SlappinFace

Huge thanks to SlappinFace for that spine-chilling introduction! Here's the latest battle map: the Xenoform Research Laboratory - a.k.a "animal testing lab".

Hidden behind layers of corporate bureaucracy and bio-secure firewalls, this facility operates at the bleeding edge of genetic manipulation and cybernetic augmentation. It isn't just an animal testing lab — I wanted this battle map to be a blacksite for experimental biotech, where living creatures are routinely subjected to invasive procedures, neural rewiring, and prototype implant trials.

This battle map features three distinct sections of the lab: the main testing area, a viewing room behind a glass panel, and an animal housing zone separated from the main area by a reinforced steel fence.

I tried to keep the details of this particular battle map as generic as possible so you can slip this room into various settings and scenarios. I hope you'll find many uses for it.

Map Variants

Mysterious Green Vials

There is a refrigerator full of vials, filled with a luminous green liquid. It could be a new sort of bio-enhancement drug. I'll leave the how and what's to you guys.

But this isn't the first time I've drawn these vials on my maps. So if you can find the other maps with these vials, you could chain the narrative together and have your players follow the trail of these vials and eventually discover their creator.

It Got Out

Something very powerful escaped from one of those cages and wreaked havoc in the lab. It might have also taken a victim or two before smashing its way through the viewing room glass. Time to track this creature down before it makes its way to densely populated zones in the city!

Waste Water Treatment Plant

Dimensions - [45 x 35] squares

Image resolution - 6300 x 4900 px

DPI - 140

"The low hum of filtration pumps echoes through the dimly lit corridors of the Night City South Sector Wastewater Reclamation Facility. Sirens flash crimson against metal catwalks as a red-tinted stream snakes its way through the sediment channels—an unauthorized chemical barrel has ruptured upstream, bleeding a synthetic compound into the water. The fluid pulses faintly, bioluminescent and wrong, tripping sensors and scrambling the automated scrubbers.

A NCPD drone hovers near the spill zone, scanning for contamination patterns, while a pair of biohazard-suited technicians rush in, shouting over the comms: "This isn’t industrial waste—it’s military-grade nanofluid!" The plant's AI hesitates, then flickers offline. Something is changing in the water."

Hi guys,

Here is the final map of the month and I had literally just finished painting the whole thing. It is a rather massive map. I've been meaning to draw this for quite a while as I view this location as a continuation to several of my previous maps.

Here are the maps that connect to this one:

- The Favelas

- Sewer Temple

- Sewer Canal Slums

I'm sure you'll find creative ways to chain these maps together in your TTRPG campaigns!

Map Variants

Dead Body

John Doe's dead body is found floating in the waste water with most of his face unrecognizable. How did it end up here? Did it flow through the city's sewerage system or did he get taken out here at the plant? If so, why? Set your players up with a murder mystery hook right here.

Chemical Spill

Chemical barrels used to treat the waste water are knocked over. Some kind of red substance comes pouring out of the barrels, leaking into the waste water system. But this substance doesn't look like standard waste water treatment. It is clearly something else.

Contamination

There are 2 map variants here showing two different stages of water contamination. This contamination starts spreading downstream towards another section of the facility where waste water turns into clean drinkable water.

Hookah Lounge

Dimensions - 12 x 12

Image resolution - 2400 x 2400 px

DPI - 200

"The air is thick with a haze that seems to almost deliberately envelop you in scent—synthetic cherry, spiced ozone, and something darker, something like burning circuits. It clings to your skin, seeps into your clothes, a perfumed fog laced with the ghost of nicotine and stimulant vapors.

The customers of the hookah lounge are sprawled across a labyrinth of low couches, sunken cushions, and mismatched stools salvaged from a dozen different eras. Some recline like fallen royalty, others hunch forward as if the next drag might hold the answer to a question they’ve long forgotten. They huff like it’s their last day on earth—maybe it is. In this city, tomorrow is never guaranteed."

~ SlappinFace

Hi everyone!

I hope every one of you are doing well and are building upon your campaign worlds with more richness and complexities. The cyberpunk battle map I have for you this month is a little different and provides your players with a dark, exotic location that they can explore, meet some fixers and so forth. Behold, the Hookah Lounge.

This Hookah lounge is a mid-sized and fully enclosed establishment with a split-level setup. The lower level features the main floor with small tables and a bar area. There are two doors that lead to the toilets and another open doorway that leads to the kitchen and to the stairs going up to the upper level.

Map Variants

The Alcove

This variant changes the dynamics of the space. Set in the corner of the room is an alcove lounge area that also has a couple sets of stairs leading upstairs. This makes the balcony area a little more difficult to defend should combat break out.

Munitions Stockpile (tile format)

A Persian rug draped from a wall conceals a doorway that leads to a hidden room. This dingy room is stockpiled full of black market weapons of all sorts. The perfect place for your group to source some exotic gear.

That's all for now guys. I hope you have fun with this one. Let me know how you go with this map.

The Superyacht

Dimensions - [28x 38] squares

Image resolution - 3920 x 5320 px

DPI - 140

"Drifting through the neon-lit waters of Night City's exclusive offshore district, The Regalia is more than just a superyacht—it’s a floating empire of vice. Wrapped in sleek, pearl-white plating with jet-black accents, the vessel serves as the gilded throne of Viktor "Sable" Morozov, a ruthless kingpin who runs high-end black market cyberware and braindance smuggling.

Outfitted with top-tier defense turrets and cloaked in signal jammers, The Regalia is a fortress where corpos, fixers, and mercs pay obscene eddies for access to illicit tech, whispered secrets, and nights of indulgence under Sable’s watchful chrome eyes. No one steps aboard uninvited—and those who cross him are rumored to vanish into the cold, synthetic depths forever."

Now, folks, after years of anticipation, we’ve finally arrived! This map has been a long time coming—about four years late, but hey, we made it! I’ll never forget my buddy Rob (Hyriu33) insisting, year after year, that we needed a luxury superyacht battle map like this one. I kept refusing because a yacht like this is a massive project that requires experience, something I didn’t have in the early days of Frag Maps. But here we are, and it was worth the wait!

Map Chaining

I had intentionally created this superyacht battle map to act as a follow up to The Marina, which I had released in January this year. There is a superyacht there that this map pack ties into. So be sure to check it out!

Map Variants

Drawing this battle map turned out to be far more tedious than I initially thought. With the 2D type of maps, the art is usually simplified, but given the size of this yacht and the sheer number of rooms, it took me a long time to draw it all. As a result, I didn’t have enough time to create any other types of variants (except for the "rubber ducky" token).

But here is how I have decided to distribute the content across the different tiers, and I’m confident you will all find it fair.

The Different Deck Levels

I'll quickly cover the different deck levels of this superyacht. Most of it is pretty self-explanatory, but let’s go over it.

Lower Deck & Engine Room
This is where most of the guest rooms are located, along with crew cabins and a small kitchen. Towards the stern of the yacht, you'll find the engine room, which leads to the lower sun deck at the back.

Main Deck
The most spacious level, complete with multiple entertainment areas, bars, and the royal suite—the luxurious sleeping quarters for the yacht’s owner.

The Bridge
Here you'll find more entertainment spaces, the bridge (the control room), and the captain's quarters.

Upper Sun Deck
Think jacuzzi, more lounges, and of course, a bar. These rich folks love their lounging areas. If I could afford a yacht like this, I’d fill this space with something cool like a virtual golf range—though I don’t actually play golf, I’d feel pretty awesome doing it.

Roof
The very top layer of the entire vessel.

CRRC (Combat Rubber Raiding Craft Token)

A large inflatable craft typically used by special forces on covert operations. This will come in handy when trying to board The Regalia under less-than-friendly circumstances.

That's all for now folks! Thanks again for your continued support. I hope you get tons of use out of this superyacht battle map pack. Big shoutout to all my Patreon supporters, past and present.

Until next time,

Chase Alley

Dimensions - [26 x 41] squares
DPI - 140
Image resolution - 3640 x 5740 pixels

Intro

"Rain lashed the narrow alley, neon signs flickering as she bolted through the slick darkness. Her cybernetic leg whirred, boots splashing through oily puddles. Behind her, enforcers closed in, drones buzzing like angry wasps, red lasers cutting through the downpour.

She slammed her palm against a rusted control box on the wall, sending a surge of electricity through the alley. Sparks exploded in a blinding cascade, forcing her pursuers to stagger back. She didn’t look back—just ran harder. The data chip in her pocket burned—her only hope.

The alley narrowed, walls closing in, but she pushed on. A rusted maintenance hatch loomed ahead. She wrenched it open, plunging into the city’s labyrinthine underbelly. Freedom or death. No time to stop."

Hey all,

Here is a new battle map that's going to come in clutch for epic narrow alley chase sequences!

I had a blast painting this one and just let loose with putting in all sorts of objects that came to mind, to fill up this scene. This battle map is rather big and it took quite a bit of time.

Taking a step back after I finished the piece, I realized that atmospherically, it has some Akira (the animation) vibes to it. I think it's that "Akira Red" color that's dominant in this scene.

Map Chaining

A back alley like this one is pretty versatile and can be narratively chained with many of my other maps. To give you guys some ideas to spark your imaginations, some maps that immediately come to mind are:

  • The Loading Dock

  • Cyberpunk Butcher Shop (the delivery backdoor leads to the alley)

  • Scavs Den (the den is pretty run down and aesthetically matches the buildings in this alley)

  • Chinese Restaurant Kitchen (the delivery backdoor leads to the alley)

  • Cyberpunk Old Pawn Shop (the delivery backdoor leads to the alley)

  • Ripperdoc Clinic (I drew a set of stairs somewhere at the middle of the Chase Alley map that leads down to a basement, specifically to tie it to this Ripperdoc Clinic. Look closely and you'll spot it - it's small, relative to the size of this map)

Map Variants

Dead End

This puts a barbed-wire fence up at one end of the alley, creating a dead end situation that puts your players in a predicament. I drew some large dumpsters next to the fence so in theory, one could use the dumpsters to get a boost and hop over the fence. But they're going to get cut up by the barbed-wires. A dilemma indeed.

Bottle Neck

A large garbage truck just happens to be doing its nightly pickup rounds in the neighborhood and conveniently creates a bottle neck near the midpoint of the alley. This will slow some aspects of the chase down and also provides hard cover where gunfire is involved.

The Side Alley

This variant creates a major shift in the dynamics of the battle map. Introducing a new pathway and creating a T-junction, this variant should create some heat at the center of the map where forces collide. It also makes catching a fugitive all the more tricky.

That's it folks. Let me know in the comments below, how you plan to use this battle map. Peace!

The Loading Dock

Image resolution - 3640 x 4900
Dimensions - (26 x 35)
DPI - 140

"There's a quiet energy to the industrial space as you wander down the echoing road. Muffled thumps of cargo being shifted, the whirr and fizz of tools being used, tired yelling muffled behind brick and sheet metal.

This place isn't the center of anything, but it is a hub of connections. It's a dim twilight with leftover neon etching shadows into the walls, and yet this place feels alive with energy as trucks with goods are attended to and warehouses with stock are assessed.

The closer you wander to the laboring workers, the stronger the stares. Have they got something to hide, or are they too accustomed to unfortunate interference?"

~ SlappinFace

Hi guys,

For this month’s final map, we’re diving into an urban commercial area with a touch of industrial influence. This time, the focus is on a loading dock behind a large commercial building—perhaps a supermarket or something similar.

It’s an ideal setting for gamemasters with players looking to track the movement of illicit goods or engage in high-stakes logistics.

If I were running a TTRPG scenario using this loading dock battle map, I’d also connect it with the following:

Map Variants

Before Delivery

An empty delivery dock. The massive truck hasn't yet arrived. This gives the players the time to scope out the area, strategize and maybe even set up that sniper's nest from atop one of the other buildings.

The Distraction (tile)

The garbage truck parked across the road from the loading dock gets set ablaze. This makes for a neat distraction that should get the goons over at the loading dock to come over to investigate.

Compactor Explosion (tile)

Something flammable was placed in the large compactor (maybe a gas cylinder) causing an epic explosion that's guaranteed to wipe out everything in the vicinity.

That's it for now folks! Let me know in the comments section below if you like this map. A little encouragement goes a long way in my world!

Peace,

"The loading dock sat in the heart of the industrial backstreets, bathed in the cold glow of neon advertisements flickering above. The night air was thick with the hum of distant machines and the low growl of hovercrafts zooming overhead, leaving behind trails of glowing exhaust. A massive delivery truck, its chassis covered in rust and grime, loitered at the bay, the dull clunk of its hydraulics echoing through the alley as it lowered its rear ramp.

The truck was unloading a sea of cardboard boxes, their surfaces marked with hastily scrawled symbols and cryptic labels, each one hiding its true contents beneath layers of secrecy. In the quiet of the night, a handful of workers—masked, silent, their eyes darting nervously—carted the boxes into the darkened warehouse, their movements swift and furtive. The goods weren’t the usual shipments for a legitimate business; tonight, the truck was delivering illicit merchandise, the kind that would vanish into the black market without a trace.

Shadows clung to the edges of the dock, and the faintest glimmers of light reflected off the wet pavement beneath. The air smelled of grease and old concrete, the quiet rustling of paper the only sound beyond the occasional hiss of a malfunctioning streetlight above."

Eden Art Gallery

Dimensions - [17 x 29]
Image resolution - 2380 x 4060
DPI - 140

Hey Everyone,

For the first map of this month, I’m excited to present something I’ve been working on in the background for the past two months: the Eden Art Gallery.

This project brings back memories of when I gamemastered my very own modern TTRPG campaign using the Savage Worlds ruleset many years ago. Back then, I created an art gallery/museum map for my group to run a heist mission. That map looked somewhat similar to this one, though it was much smaller and had a more cartoony style. The vibe of this new map really takes me back to those days—it reminds me of the very first battle map I ever drew.

If your players are itching to pull off an art gallery heist, look no further—this is the perfect setting. The space is expansive, featuring multiple exhibition rooms filled with priceless art ripe for the taking.

PS: I've hinted at skylight panels in one of the exhibit rooms just because we all know someone in the gaming is going to suggest the most challenging way to break in.

PPS: There are other ways to get into this place, for instance the extra-large air vent in the Curator's Room.

Of course, an art gallery such as this one isn’t just for heists. Here are a few other ways you could use this battle map:

  • Mingling with the elite during a high-society gala or whilst perusing the fine art.

  • Executing (or preventing) an assassination during a glamorous event (check out the variant map below for this scenario).

  • Investigating a counterfeit art ring or uncovering shady business dealings.

I’m sure you all can come up with even more creative uses that I haven’t even thought of!

Variants

Gala Event

"The sun blazed through the jagged skyline, its harsh light flooding the Eden Art Gallery. The daytime gala was a glittering facade of wealth and power, where the elite mingled beneath holographic displays and towering installations. At the center stood a massive golden ATLAS statue, its polished surface gleaming as the figure bore the weight of the world—a fitting symbol for the city’s endless struggles.

The statue wasn’t just art; it was a diversion. The real target stood nearby—a high-profile corporate executive, surrounded by a phalanx of augmented bodyguards. The assassin moved through the crowd with precision, their sleek attire blending seamlessly with the opulence. A disguised weapon rested in their palm, primed and ready.

As the executive paused to admire the ATLAS, the assassin struck. A single, silent shot rang out, barely audible over the clinking of glasses and murmured conversations. The bodyguards reacted instantly, but it was too late. The executive crumpled to the floor, and the crowd froze in stunned silence. The assassin melted into the chaos, disappearing before anyone could react. The golden statue loomed overhead, its unyielding gaze a silent reminder: in this city, even the weight of the world couldn’t protect you."

Security Shutters

This map variant comes with a set of tiles, covering almost all the major doorways. The only doorways that aren't security shuttered are: the main entryway (south of the map) and the glass doorway that leads to the Curatorial Backroom. That doorway requires security swipe card access anyway (but it's not as if our heroes are going to have any trouble smashing through the glass if the situation calls for it!).

Burnt-Out Shop

Dimensions - (17x23)
Image size - 3400 x 4600 px
DPI - 200

"The acrid stench of burnt rubber and melted polyester still lingers in the air, long after the fire gutted what was once a high-end sportswear store. The outside neon signs that once pulsed with corporate slogans are now dark, their tubes shattered or dead. The floor is littered with shattered glass, collapsed shelves, and the skeletal remains of sneakers, their soles curled inward like dying embers.

Dust and soot hang thick in the air, swirling lazily where the light cuts through. Patches of warmth illuminate pockets of devastation—glinting off a scorched price tag, catching on the warped surface of a once-polished display counter. An advertising board near the entrance still clings to life, its surface cracked and blackened, colors washed out but the message remains: a grinning athlete mid-stride, his cybernetic legs gleaming, accompanied by the half-burned slogan, "RUN THE FUTURE".

This place is dead, yet bathed in the soft, indifferent glow of the sun, as if the ruins still held onto some distant memory of what once was."

Hi all!

Here is the second map for the month of January and this time it is a unique little locale for your players to visit - a burnt-out, abandoned sportswear store.

I designed this battle map to be as location-generic as possible so it can be used whenever you GM's need a:

  • Location for your players to lay low for a while

  • Sniper's nest

  • Post-arson investigation

  • Transitory spot midway through a chase scene

These were my initial ideas, though I'm pretty sure you crafty gamemasters are going to come up with many more scenario ideas that I never thought of.

Let's take a look at the map variants.

Map Variants

Runaway Car

A car (possibly a vehicle chase scene) has swerved out of control and smashed into this store's front entrance. Lead fills the air in a chaotic frenzy while the occupants of the vehicle stagger out in desperation, trying to avoid their assailants.

This map variant makes for the perfect transition from the chase to the store's interior. Have fun with this one. It's my personal favorite.

This variant is a modular tile.

Urban Squatting

Amid the blackened ruins of the sportswear shop, a handful of squatters have carved out a fragile existence with their ragged sleeping bags and ripped tarps that form makeshift homes.

Some of these squatters might just be valuable eye witnesses to the situation that happened across the screen the night before.

This variant is a modular tile.

Unexploded Ordnance

The missile tore through the skyline and punched into the wreckage of the burnt-out shop, embedding itself like a ticking time bomb. It never exploded, but that didn’t stop the city from going to war over it.

Gangs, mercs, and corpo fixers flooded in, weapons drawn, neon masks glowing in the dust-choked air. The squatters vanished, replaced by killers and opportunists, all fighting for a payload worth a lifetime of chrome. And in the wreckage, the missile just sat—silent, waiting—like a loaded gun with no hand to pull the trigger.

This variant is a modular tile.

The Marina

Dimensions - (62 x 94) grid squares

1 square = 5 ft

Image resolution - 2480 x 3760 px

DPI - 40

"It's almost hypnotic watching the vessels of the marina bob and sway on the gentle tide, a constant rhythm that's like watching fibreglass and aluminium breathe.

A backing track of clinking crystal glasses and exceptionally refined conversation rolls out from the exclusive restaurants and luxurious bars lining the marina. Alongside this suffocating indulgence, mechanics and deck hands toil quietly and politely in the beating sun to keep these nautical monuments of wealth pristine.

It's like gazing upon a city skyline at sea, as the sun dips towards the horizon and sets the panes of glass and lines of chrome ablaze with golden light. Alongside the crisp, fresh air of the salty water lapping against your nose, you could swear it's possible to actually taste the billions bobbing softly in front of you."

~ SlappinFace

Hey everyone!

Happy 2025! This is the first cyberpunk battle map to kick off the new year - The Marina.

The scale of this map is enormous and is right up there on the list when it comes to the biggest maps I've ever created. Shoutout to Discord member "Zaylo" for seeding this battle map idea.

This marina map offers incredible versatility, making it the perfect setting for all kinds of dramatic encounters. Waterways have long been favored routes for smuggling illegal goods and contraband, and where there's that kind of activity, gang members are bound to stake their claim.

I can almost smell the gunpowder lingering in the air, knowing you guys and the kind of intense firefights and high-stakes scenarios that you are going to have unfold at this location.

Let me introduce to you, the map variants.

Map Variants

Marina on Fire

Chaos erupts as a jetty and a cluster of small boats go up in flames, causing widespread panic among civilians and blocking access to the main jetty. The sheer intensity of the blaze suggests the involvement of an accelerant or fuel. Was this fire a calculated diversion, or was it meant to conceal evidence of illegal activity?

Sunken Vessel

A small sailing yacht, damaged and nearly submerged, lies just outside the marina. Floating debris marks the location of this wreck. Your players are tasked with recovering a valuable item that was being transported aboard. It sounds straightforward—until rival groups show up with the same objective.

The Superyacht

A massive luxury superyacht, too large to dock within the marina, is anchored just outside. Its owner is a wealthy elite with an air of mystery. The details of who this person is—and why they’re here—are yours to craft, weaving them seamlessly into your game’s narrative.

This map is packed with opportunities for exciting and dynamic gameplay—get ready for action!

Private Detective's Office

Dimensions - (10 x 6)
Image resolution - 2000 x 1200 px
DPI - 200

"A weeping woman shoulders her way past as you enter the reception, eyes red and puffy from either the start or the end of a journey of woes. Behind the desk sits an overworked receptionist with impressive bags under his eyes, the phone blinking with multiple lights as he replies to another email from another disgruntled client. Stepping through the door on his left you enter an office filled with cigar smoke, as you're not sure if the ventilation is broken or has been turned off for dramatic effect. It leaves a haze of fog that's glowing from the window filled with neon lights from the city skyline outside, shrouding the wall of notes and the banks of filing cabinets. The private detective behind the large messy desk rubs his temples as he knocks back a glass of dark amber liquid, shaking off the last unfortunate conversation to prepare for this next one."

~ SlappinFace

Hey guys,

Happy holidays! I hope you all are having a great time with friends and family and taking that much needed break from the daily grind.

I will be taking an X'mas break as I do on a yearly basis, thus this Private Detective's Office will be the only battle map I'll be releasing in December. I'll resume our regular publishing schedule come January 2025.

For those new to my Patreon, please note that my Patreon charges per map release. It's not a monthly subscription. If I only release 1 map, that's all you'll be charged.

A huge thanks to "Luke The GM" (from the Discord server) for seeding this idea. This battle map sets the stage for an investigative scenario where your players arrive just a bit too late. They must delve into the scene, searching for clues to unravel the mystery. Use this map to kick off a new story arc or introduce it mid-game as the group continues their pursuit of elusive evidence.

Let's take a look at the map variants.

Map Variants

Evidence Safe (modular tile)

The evidence safe has been ransacked. When the players arrive, they find folders and documents scattered across the floor, along with a few data drives holding potentially critical information.

Dead Detective (modular tile)

The detective lay face down on the cold, metallic floor of his dimly lit office, a faint hum from the wall-mounted holo-terminals filling the silence. The pulsating red light of a cracked ocular implant flickered weakly, the only sign of the advanced tech that had failed to save him.

Hidden Stairwell (modular tile)

Behind the faux-wood paneling of the detective’s office, a seamless section of the wall hisses open, revealing a narrow stairwell bathed in pulsing cyan light. The stairs lead downwards, but to where?

Pull-out Sofa (modular tile)

This pull-out sofa has seen better days. Amidst the flickering glow of his holo-screens and the hum of the city outside, this private detective would stretch out on the worn mattress, too wired on caffeine and adrenaline to sleep. The sheets, always a little too thin, did little to soften the harsh reality of his work—cracking cases in a world where answers never came easy.

That's all for now folks. Please have a safe holiday season and warmest wishes to all of you. Thank you for all your support.

Always,

~ Frag

Office Floor

Dimensions - [21 x 15]
Image resolution - 4200 x 3000 px
DPI - 200

"Employees at their cubicles are busy with data analysis and communications. The sleek glass walls of the manager’s office showcases a high-tech desk and displays, far removed from the more uniform machines used by the worker ants. Light cuts harshly through the windows, illuminating heated board meetings as suits and ties gesticulate wildly and slam furniture. The office space is alive with faint chatter, while the dim glow of vending machines adds to the glow of screens and personal devices.

Suddenly, an alert blares across the office, interrupting the routine. Lights flicker as a breach is detected in the servers, shattering the tense corporate world. The head of IT rushes to the control panel, only to find that the systems are being overridden and corrupted. You survey the controlled chaos, as you spot one of the cubicle workers still sat hunched at his desk, sweat dripping as they frantically type at their console."

~ SlappinFace

Hi everyone. The Office Floor is the second cyberpunk battle map for November. This is one of those staple locations that your players might visit on multiple occasions.

SlappinFace already provided a kick-ass intro to the Office Floor. Thus, I am just going to cut to the chase. Let's take a look at the map variants!

Map Variants

Elevator Doors

This variant changes the doorway that leads to another section of the building into a set of elevator doors.

Surveillance Room

A modular tile that replaces the fire escape stairwell with a corporate video surveillance room, where every action is scrutinized, cataloged and judged by the silent, all-seeing eye of corporate power.

Reception Desk

This tile adds a reception desk to the office floor plan. This variant functions as an entryway blocker where access to the entire floor is prevented by a glass doorway.

Night-time

This variant provides you with a night-time version of the office floor, ideal for the after hours office heist! It includes the night-time version of the aforementioned tile variants.

Dive Bar

Dimensions - (11x18) squares
Image resolution - 1540 x 2520 px
DPI - 140

"The place feels dirty, like you could reach out into the smokey haze of the air you're inhaling and yank off strands of muck and texture. But it's the good kind of dirty, like well used boots or a reliable jacket. There's a genuine hum surrounding you like the bar itself is purring with life.

Soft light fills your eyes as you squint through the stinging nicotine vapors and swirling dust from the patrons shuffling back and forth between tables, stools and the bar itself. This is a place where everyone knows each other, and if you don't then perhaps you should start making friends very quickly.

An old and loved sound system pumps muffled beats into the mumbling crowd, filling your ears with tunes and melodies you almost remember. As you scan the crowds of people in varying states of inebriation, you silently pray that it's the only soundtrack you hear tonight..."

~ SlappinFace

Hi all!

This dive bar battle map has been on the to-do list for quite a while. I had decided to put it off earlier since there were already other club/bar type maps in my maps archive, such as:

The difference with this dive bar is that it is more claustrophobic, no frills and casual kind of joint that usually caters to the lower socio-economic class. It's a place where the locals come to drink, hangout and watch blood sports on the big screen.

The Real Business

Amid the neon haze of the bar, one will often find fixers, shadowy brokers who connect desperate mercenaries and hackers with lucrative but dangerous jobs.

These bars, with their dim lighting and untraceable payment systems, are the perfect meeting spots for whispered negotiations and discreet exchanges of black-market tech. Fixers thrive here, blending into the crowd while orchestrating high-stakes deals, trading stolen data, or hiring street samurai for missions no one else dares to touch.

Like Russian roulette, everyone knows that one of these gigs is going to spell the end of them - it’s just a matter of time. But in a world where survival hinges on risk, the allure of a big score keeps the desperate coming back for more.

Map Variants

Gambling Table

A swappable tile to turn the round table in the backroom into a high stakes card game situation.

Assault Rifle Racks

This tile adds two racks filled with heavy-hittin' assault rifles. Now why would a dive bar be this well-stocked with military-grade weapons?

Bleed Out

An individual behind the bar slumps against a bullet riddled counter, his breath comes in ragged gasps. With a final, desperate whisper, he imparts crucial information to the players, moments before succumbing to the darkness.

Pool Table Weapons

2 swappable tiles, one for each pool table.

As unwelcome intruders burst into the dive bar, patrons spring from their seats. With swift, practiced movements, they retrieve an assortment of weaponry from concealed drawers within the pool tables, ready to defend their ground.

The Grow House

Dimensions - (21 x 13)
Image resolution - 4200 x 2600
DPI - 200

"A serene hum fills the aid as vapor swirls around your chest. It feels like you're walking through the lungs of mother nature herself, the room almost breathing with you as the plants sway with the click and hiss of the air conditioning.

Workers in plastic suits crinkle and crackle as they shuffle down the rows, prodding and poking at the plants with the utmost care. The soft glow of the lights lining the ceiling and floor fill the space with a strange sense of peace and calm, as the mist coats everything with a glistening dew."

~ SlappinFace

Welcome to the "Grow House" folks. This grow house battle map idea was seeded by GoatWalrus from the Discord server. I'm certain that you guys are going to have some interesting encounters on this map.

What Is A Grow House?

A grow house is an indoor facility where plants are cultivated under controlled conditions. Typically associated with cannabis, these places use artificial lighting, climate control, and advanced growing techniques like hydroponics to optimize plant growth. They're designed to replicate or enhance outdoor growing conditions, ensuring year-round production.

I designed this battle map to be highly flexible when it comes to location so you can just plug and play. If you're looking for chaining ideas, the following are some that come to mind.

Narrative Chaining

Hydroponic Greenhouse Facility

While the Grow House zooms into the details of crop optimization, the Hydroponic Greenhouse Facility is more of a macro view map. The Grow House could easily be part of this larger complex.

Bio Lab

This was one of my earliest battle maps, created in the first year of Frag Maps. While the style may look different, this location still serves as a great option to narratively connect with the Grow House.

The Arcology Series

The Arcology Series is collection of battle maps created during the 2nd and 3rd years of Frag Maps and focuses in on an enclosed ecosystem that is the Arcology (highly inspired by the film "Dredd").

The Grow House would very comfortably from a sub-location within this enormous complex.

Map Variants

Carnivorous Plants

In a section of this grow house lies a species of plants that were genetically engineered to eliminate pests in urban farms. However, when combined with a cocktail of synthetic nutrients and an energy source these plants experienced uncontrollable growth rates.

And that is exactly what happened here.

Psychedelic Fruit

These fruits are engineered to produce vivid, reality-bending effects when consumed, making them a hot commodity among thrill-seekers and those seeking an escape from the dystopian world outside. The fruits shimmer with an unnatural glow, each variety offering a unique sensory experience, from heightened perceptions to wild hallucinations.

They sure fetch a pretty penny on the black market.

Diseased Crop

A section of valuable crop within this grow house is withering away. What could be the cause of it? Disease or poison? Your call, gamemasters.

Overhead Piping

This map variant is for those of you who crave further immersion. The hydroponic overhead piping is provided on its own layer with transparency (.PNG format), so you can overlay it on top of the base map in your favorite VTT.

Warehouse Safe House

Dimensions - 11 x 17
DPI - 200
Image resolution - 2200 x 3400

"The dirty space echoes as you knock against discarded boxes whilst crossing the warehouse, filled with nothing but trash and hoarded junk from previous owners, but also a lot of promise. You can hear the outside world echo and crash beyond the walls, but that's a distant issue. Right now, you're standing in four walls of solitude and safety.

Lights flicker overhead as you assess the floors and walls, grateful for their sturdy construction and current condition. It wasn't much currently, and based on the scattered strangers milling around and licking their wounds it wasn't much more than a refuge right now. But it could also end up being everything..."

~ SlappinFace

About This Battle Map

Drawing and painting this cyberpunk battle map was a fruitful experience and I had a blast. Something about internal spaces with a lot of concrete and worn out surfaces really tickles my fancy.

For this safe house, I decided that it would exist as part of a forgotten industrial zone within a sprawling cyberpunk metropolis. This old, decrepit and barebones warehouse would serve as a well-hidden safe house that is typically occupied by mercenaries.

The following environments that I have created in the past, will chain well with this safe house, narratively-speaking:

With its rusted exterior and crumbling walls, it may not look like an upmarket style haven that John Wick would utilize, but it's something your group can use to lay low in, at least for a while.

Always remember that while the joint remains a secure refuge, far from the prying eyes of the meta-corps and street gangs, safety is always temporary. It's only a matter of time before the shadows close in.

Map Variants

Within the shadowy labyrinth of this warehouse safe house, every surface hides a secret. Floor panels glide open to unveil lethal weapon stashes, covert safes cradle stacks of cash (or credits) and cutting-edge tech.

Air vents conceal illicit goods, tucked away from prying eyes. The entire space is a testament to survival, with every inch optimized for secrecy in this dystopian urban jungle.

Here are the tiled variants I've created for you guys:

Hidden Hatch

Large, corroded metal panels slide aside to reveal a hidden stash of good.

Floor Vault

Hidden underneath an old worn-out couch lies a futuristic looking vault only accessible via a biometric scan.

Dead Body

Your players arrive to the safe house only to find that their main point of contact, has been murdered. Has this location been compromised?

Through the Vents

A metal vent creaks open, revealing a narrow, dimly lit passageway that twists and turns into the depths of the warehouse. This hidden path could be an ideal spot for stashing valuables, offering a secret refuge far from prying eyes and curious minds.

The VIP Lounge

Dimensions - (16x10) squares

Image resolution - 3200 x 2000

DPI - 200

”The soft muffled thump of a distant beat vibrates through the softly lit room, adding a background hum to the tinkle of delicate glasses and murmur of conversation. It felt like you were cut off from the world, isolated in this den of decadence. Even the air felt expensive, laced with rich aromas of exotic spirits and wreathed with fumes of dry ice and tobacco.

Priceless statues and works of art are strewn around the room, as if they were some casual afterthought in the design process. The lounge is a shrine to perfectly crafted casual indifference, where an idly tossed cushion would set you back an ungodly amount of currency.“

~ SlappinFace

Hi all!

I hope everyone's been well and enjoying your summers (if happen to be located in that part of the world). I've been busy over the past few weeks creating this corporate-style VIP lounge Cyberpunk battle map for you to immerse your players in.

This battle map idea was actually requested by none other than the man, SlappinFace himself. The idea was to have an exclusive and classy lounge battle map that can be plugged into a multitude of different settings, be it a bar, a club, a casino etc. You get the drift.

The concept was simple but execution-wise (layout, lighting, color) proved to be a little more tricky. For those of you who are interested, this was the initial sketch of the layout that was put forth to the Discord group.

Map Variants

Raid Shootout

This battle map variant turns the chilled-out corporate lounge vibe into a hectic shootout due to a police raid or perhaps a grudge-fueled attack from a gang or faction. The floor's bathed in large pools of crimson and bullet casings.

Regardless of the cause of this violence, just thrust your players into this predicament and watch the story unravel!

The Hidden Passage

Just when your players think they've finally managed to corner an elusive corporate lynchpin in a VIP lounge, he slips out via a secret passage concealed behind a classical marble statue.

Great for those times when you really want to create a group of frustrated PC's. Remember that frustration fuels impatience, and impatience leads to mistakes.

This variant is provided in "tile" format for you to add as a layer within your favorite virtual tabletop software (VTT), such as Foundry VTT.

Have fun with this battle map guys and let me know how you like it. The next, upcoming map is gonna be a pretty epic one. So stay tuned for that in October! Speak soon.

Lots of love,

~ Frag

Car Scrap Yard

Dimensions - (53 x 40) squares
DPI - 100
Image resolution - (5300 x 4000) px
Scale - 1 sq = 5 ft

"The towers of metal around you creak and groan as the wind whistles through this industrial graveyard. Car corpses peer down at you with empty headlights as flecks of rust are carried swirling through the dusty yard. Screeching gears and wailing engines spring to life as another dead chassis is casually dragged from its totem and tossed into the crusher.

As you approach the main warehouse in the yard, a thick chain and padlock are wrapped around the sliding doors. Barred from entry, you can only listen to the hissing, whirring and buzzing from inside the sheet metal walls. It must be something valuable that was being worked on inside, because why else would this yard have such measures in place?"

~ SlappinFace

Hey guys,

Firstly, shout out to "SlappinFace" for continuing to write these scenario-inspiring introductions. They really hit the spot. Secondly, here is the first map for the month of September - The Car Scrap Yard!

I swear, I do torture myself every time I attempt one of these really large and fairly detailed maps. This one was particularly brutal because of all the cars. Just FYI, cars are really hard to paint well - I much prefer buildings and structures etc.

The yard is encapsulated by old corrugated metal fencing. Barbed wire ensures that intruders are kept out but the keen eyed amongst you will notice that there are some gaps in the fencing due to negligence. Within the compound aare stacked rows of cars that come in two varieties: flattened and waiting to be flattened. These piles of metal form a maze-like structure that make shootouts particularly drawn out, but fun.

At the center of the yard lies a small warehouse where the scrapers might pull apart and salvage particularly valuable vehicle components.

I included what looks vaguely like a back gate (north side of the map) - where it leads to, is up to you GM's! Beyond the yard's fence line, there are scattered construction materials and shipping containers that hint to there being adjacent points of interest.

Chaining Maps

The following from my battle maps repository will work well when chained together with the Car Scrap Yard:

If you are part of the Discord server, then you'd already know that struggled a little at the beginning when designing the layout. I am satisfied with this final version and I hope you guys feel the same way. Let me know!

Tattoo Shop

Dimensions - 12 x 7

DPI - 200

Image resolution - 2400 x 1400

"The owner of the shop waves you over to the sofas as they flick through a magazine, head buried in spreadsheets of appointments and bookings. Their skin almost serves as an advert for this establishment, covered in swirling dark lines and splashes of vibrant color.

Covering the walls are other designs you could choose to have etched on your skin, a tapestry of art illuminated by the light of humming appliances. As you're finally gestured into the room itself, the soft leather chair is reclined and waiting for you.

Tools and instruments line the desk of the tattoo artist as they greet you warmly and start discussing how you want to change yourself today. The soft glow of the surrounding lights soothes your nerves as you consider exactly what art will soon mark your body."

~ SlappinFace

Hi everyone!

It's time for another cyberpunk battle map. This time, we've a small, run-down and old tattoo shop (or parlor). This shop is single-handedly run by the tattoo artist and maybe an apprentice or assistant.

The two-roomed premises is ideal for search/investigation style missions and scenarios. The first room consists of the waiting area, and main entrance. The back room is where the all the inking takes place - on the chair. There is a backdoor exit but I kept it vague on purpose so it could also double as a utility room, or a wet closet (toilet).

Map Variants

New Ink

A shirtless man in leather pants sits on the tattooist's chair to get his "glo-ink". The tattoo design he's got looks familiar and may just be the vital clue your group of PC's have been trying to chase down for months. Roll perception!

Hidden Weapons Stash (tile)

Tattoo art just doesn't pay the bills no more, especially with stiff competition all around. "Gotta make ends meet ya know?", the tattoo artist winks as he hits a button under the counter. You hear a mechanical hiss as the red neon dragon signboard flips down to reveal a small but deadly array of assault weapons neatly arranged on a metal tray. The gun barrel reflections gleam, almost seemingly singing, in the presence of the shop's overhead fluorescent lamps.

Cybernetic Organs (tile)

A metal cabinet door opens and reveals cybernetic organs stored in a glowing red, thick and translucent liquid.
