So a part of them is still holding back to kill their friends :') Because they could have easily killed them both there way faster esp since they were unarmed. But then the way connie snatches the gun out of his hand to kill his other friend first before killing the other guy is just oof...

2025-06-29 11:21:33 +0000 UTCFloch I didn’t love from the beginning so when he leaned into fanaticism, culty side I was like ok yep confirmed what I already didn’t like, I just didn’t find him actually thinking about anything, at the very least Eren has spent a lot of time in his own mind and came to his own conclusion, Floch felt like he’s just choosing to cling onto someone else’s ideals, like it feels like if there wasn’t a figurehead in the movement like Eren he wouldn’t have come to these actions on his own; also all petty shade — his hair always made him look like a jerk, like the kind of guy that makes you cover your hand over your drink at bar vibe, his character design makes it easy not to be attached lol

Although she was not that kind of person. To be honest only Jean and Conny seem like the ones, who I can imagine joining Jaegerists, but even then they would be the ones to let Armin and others do their thing rather than kiling them. So I assume choosing these “no name” characters makes sense the most. The transformation thing… The whole lightning thing is an anime-only thing. It is just for the animation and stylistic effect, so that does not killing/affect anything. But if you are right next to the titan shifter, the heat from it kills you. Or then if you are the Colossal Titan you can choose to use the explosion to kill people in a certain distance. But the explosion does not happen always. Which is a thing I am not sure in the case of Armin. He intentionally used it in the attack on Liberio, so I assume he either can use it or cannot stop it happening, when he is transforming 100%. So then the question is if he can transform just partially (as Bertholdt did in the season 2, when Reiner had the speech of his with Eren 😅😅). Because in general we can see Armin hates using the titan powers and him being turned into a titan shifter was solely to revive him and to give him the “titan shifter plot armor (but not in the sense of Reiner’s plot armor… that is like… Hajime Isayama just does not want to let him die...). If he cannot use it to its fullest as Beanpole (Bertholdt) could, then I understand he did not want to risk it here (that he would have destroyed the airplane), but earlier in Shinganshina, he could have gone riot with that power, I mean… Shinganshina was obviously done already, so I big explosion thrown towards Marley soldiers there would habe been nothing…
