actually- the original anime style matched the early manga style, and the current one matches the later manga style so cool to see how mangaka's style evolves throughout a long term project like this, and how the anime deals with that (ik they had a change in studio which prompted the shift tho)

2025-08-30 21:22:44 +0000 UTCi don't know if anyone has said but the art style from here onwards is more in line with the manga art style. both this and the previous one have their own charms imo and im glad you appreciate both i have minor gripes with the thicker line quality but as you said both the art and animation style capture the original spirit which is most important to me

2025-06-26 04:34:55 +0000 UTCHere points out exactly how I like Ushijima and Tendou more OUTSIDE the match, when theyβre not the direct enemies playing against them, I can appreciate their quirks and be more endeared β like Ushiwaka sounds like a grown ass man and is terrifying but not in a game heβs weirdo who will only read the ads and not the manga π and yes ofc Tendou is much more likable when heβs not outwardly stating heβs plotting against your downfall to break you mentally π and he can just be a goofy guy who is actually ushiwakas bff
