Go listen to the new Lady Gaga album!
Added 2025-03-07 06:49:41 +0000 UTCThis isn't K-Pop related but if you just love music in general, I highly recommend the new Lady Gaga album 'MAYHEM'. Absolutely euphoric and transcendent 😭
I'm a huge Lady Gaga fan and if you're into 80s glam pop/rock/dark synth pop this is the album for you. Just a personal recommendation. The way this album is shattering and setting new musical standards for me is insane!

2025-03-12 19:12:37 +0000 UTCSo… after a few days with this album, I thought about my ranking of her discography. It is off topic, but since people here seems to be interested in Lady Gaga too, I leave this here, if anyone is interested… Feel free to share yours! I am curious! 1. Artpop/Chromatica 2. Chromatica/Artpop 3. The Fame Monster Deluxe Edition/Mayhem 4. Mayhem/The Fame Monster Deluxe Edition 5. Joanne 6. The Fame Monster/Born This Way/The Fame 7. Born This Way/The Fame Monster/The Fame 8. The Fame/Born This Way/The Fame Monster Now looking at that, I realized how confusing it is… Basically Artpop is the number one for me, but Chromatica makes me reconsider my ranking a lot, so it is truly neck to neck. I always struggle with the whole “The Fame Monster being an EP, but it is after all considered as LG2 (second album) because the Deluxe Edition includes also songs from The Fame, therefore it is a double album/"big repackage album”, so I distinguish The Fame Monster Deluxe Edition and just The Fame Monster and The Fame. I view The Fame Monster Deluxe Edition as the final form/product, so when it comes to ranking I appreciate this form the most and then I focus on both LG1 (The Fame) & LG2 (The Fame Monster) separately (despite in this case The Fame Monster "regular version" being only an EP). And The Fame Monster Deluxe Edition is on the 3rd place, but Mayhem is giving me vibes of “I am the Chromatica to The Fame Monster Deluxe Edition”, so that is why I have it also equal, but not to the same level as Artpop & Chromatica 😅😅 Then Joanne on the 5th place but before Mayhem being released, it was on the 4th place. For the end I cannot properly decide between The Fame Monster, Born This Way and The Fame, because every time I re-listen to them, I struggle even more to decide. But this order (The Fame Monster, Born This Way, The Fame) could possibly be my final answer… Also… I think The Fame should have been released as an EP and then they should have released The Fame Monster as Monster or The Monster as basically part 2 to The Fame and then both EPs would have been released together as The Fame Monster without any confusing things like there being a Deluxe Edition or "The Fame Monster regular version" being an EP despite still being considered as LG2. Plus since Lady Gaga did not want fans to pay for the same music twice (that is why it was also released as “non-deluxe edition/regular version” too) they could have kept some songs from both EPs/parts only for the final form release OR technically releasing those EPs only digitally with the announcement of this whole plan in advance to build the hype for the final form release. And… 😅😅… if that was the case, I wouldn’t have included those EPs in my ranking, which would have made me think Born This Way is actually really neck to neck with Joanne. Which is technically true even now, but I did my best to make at least this ranking rather than saying: “Well… and on the last place I have Joanne, The Fame Monster, Born This Way, The Fame all truly equal to each other”

2025-03-07 11:51:14 +0000 UTCI don't know how long it's been that I've listened to a non-kpop album besides Short n' Sweet. Probably around 5 years or more... But it seems like I should give this one a shot 👁️
