2025-02-28 18:19:52 +0000 UTCI could go on a 2 day long rant about this but this song either feels like a disbandment song or a rebirth of sorts. i’m not sure if we’ll get as lucky with zb1 as we did kepler but considering their popularity i think anything could happen (though i do have veryyyy low expectations). the lyrics definitely point to this want to stay together forever and enter a blue paradise (an eternal contract of sorts) and cherishing time together. i also picked up of the matthew/hanbin scene of being reminiscent of their time together predebut. obviously they’ll have 1 or 2 comebacks before their contract is up so this isn’t an actual disbandment song, but it definitely feels like it’s emphasizing enjoying the moments while we have it.

2025-02-28 17:14:40 +0000 UTCcoming off of good so bad it really feels like blue has established zb1’s signature sound. kenzie has really helped them find this perfect nostalgic sad, yet hopeful and beautiful and uplifting pop sound that they thrive in. good so bad was similar; it was upbeat and yet filled with a little sadness and longing and blue feels the same way to me. it’s such a perfect encapsulation of youth and i’m incredibly thankful to kenzie for helping zb1 find their space within the soundscapes of kpop
