i think fire did better too, it felt like an actual performance not just karkoe. i think because off that it might affected the score, there were times a member from the fire team points the mic to the others which they woud do in an actual performace. so dont moment probbably didnt register well on the matchine so they were a point off.

I forget she is the second maknae, her confidence is great (her personality reminds me a bit of fromis_9 Chaeyoung), and I like them all of course, but bias wise, also, Ahyeon is going second in my list ♥ This show is pretty good PD if you eventually watch more of KStarNextDoor here and there it would be awesome (episodes with ILLIT, NMIXX, ITZY and so on).

2025-02-17 23:46:36 +0000 UTCI hoped they would give the second round to Pharita's team, because none of their members got eliminated, so each team would have had 1 point and then there would be third round of Ruka and Asa having rap battle and that battle would have ended as a tie. But besides that... I agree with you. Fire felt like as if it was their performance stage rather than "just karaoke". Regarding the question of yours... it is hard to tell who's voice is the best, I have always ended up with it depending on what each individual prefers color-wise. But I would say it is not just between Rami, Pharita and Ahyeon, but Rora as well... she has me hooked since her Someone You Loved solo evaluation performance and I think she is the hidden gem of this group! Also... thank you for appreciating Rora! Despite her being the second maknae, people may forget about that because Chiquita was way more hyped as the maknae (probably to make sure enough people like, because they knew there will be haters going against the group/her because of her entering the industry while being young) and when it comes to singing, she did not get as many lines as others until the Drip album. Someone has already mentioned the video, where they played G-Dragon's demo. It is a video of Drip recording and it is the video of Asa creating her tag "Acesa"!

2025-02-17 22:36:01 +0000 UTCI think the song choice plays heavily into the ranking of the covers, cause Fire might be the most cover friendly song there is imo. It's got lots of charismatic parts, it's easy to hype up a crowd and also has some nice high notes, whereas Pink Venom is a cool song but very hard to cover and shine with especially since the chorus is kind of an anti drop. And yes Rora has always been my bias but she shines a lot on varieties, she's like the spokesperson of the group. For their own content she always acts as the news anchor and she was also sent on Running Man along with Rami and they both held their own.

Tbh I can’t really say which cover I prefer, but what you said about comparing Asa and Ruka: Asa would be in the GD, Mino line, Ruka in the TOP, CL, Bobby line And I definitely agree about Rora. Her, and I think Ahyeon and Chiquita have also been on Mimiminu‘s show and she was so funny there, too. Really hope to see her in more variety shows

To be fair to Chiquita's team Pink Venom is really difficult to cover because instead of focusing just on singing they need to be able to understand and express the vibe of the song as well, or it'll feel like something is missing. I think Blackpink's songs are infamously difficult to cover because of this issue. Nevertheless i think both teams did really well. Having Rami and Ahyeon in one group is crazy. I feel like their vocal style complement each other so well because their strengths are the total opposite- Power vs Control. Will be interesting to see how it develops over the years
