thank you for this reaction and for loving this group so much - they are FANTASTIC! gotta love the bitterness as a mandatory mix with the sweetness. i think it's part of an overarching theme, like a gradual emergence out of the post-breakup blues that colors, uhhh, all of tag's previous oeuvre. that aside, you made a great observation that they're taking a genre but making the song sound different than that genre alone because the production enriches it in their own color. there's both a musical and an emotional layering in their songs that makes them feel extra rich and complex, and i'm so grateful that they're giving kpop that dimensionality.

Honestly one of my ult groups and I think my only ult group that's part of 5th gen. Looking forward to a listening party of this βπ»

(I still Do was a popular one from Fallin' from what I saw.) They reached their highest peak of Spotify listeners at that time (even higher than now, even though PINK CRUSH just dropped), and Fallin was still gaining thousands of sales months after release from people discovering it. Their first day sales for this comeback also exceeded their first week sales of Moment, their debut ep. I'm also already seeing people talking about and posting clips of 100!, so I think it'll gain attention like Deserved did, too.

2025-02-16 06:51:27 +0000 UTCThe live stages for this are so fun because the choreography has a lot of improvisation moments in it, so each stage is different, and it's so fun seeing how they toss Seongmin (He does not land on his feet in one of the stages lol). The album is so good. I'm so glad they're getting so much more attention lately since Deserved went viral on TikTok and Twitter.
