amazing use of music also, pairing that dissonant trumpet riff for mad dog because he’s this odd cog that throws their perfect team dynamic into disarray. the ost for this show is spectacular.

2025-05-17 13:13:44 +0000 UTC39:00 we call this a 6-2 rotation in the U.S.! 6 players where 2 are setters. The setter would be in the back row so the one in the front can hit as an opposite/right wing spiker. Then you still have your outside/left wing spiker, middle and back row!

I love that these episodes highlight his super intelligent, sinister strategies but also his dorky side lmao. I also love suga and kageyama doing that setter switch-up and kageyama getting the spike in!! respect for suga for coming in and introducing that plan since it must be nerve-wracking to get subbed in at a really important time. Next ep is probably my favorite for this match, I get chills when i watch that slow rotating shot to yamaguchi
