2025-01-23 20:07:18 +0000 UTCits so wild PD! when i saw the mv and listened to the song for the first time, i was like "ah its not quite for me, but i still love the boys" and then i watched these stages and now i absolutely love this song LOL!!!! similar thing only ever happened to me with bts, when the style/genre of the music wasn't my cup of tea, but the artists, their energy and their insane performance literally forced me to like it (in the best way possible ofc hehe)

2025-01-13 03:24:16 +0000 UTCBoynextdoor is highly influenced and inspired by Bigbang I guess because Bigbang's stage presence and styles are their dream and "ideal type" and they monitored/learnt a lot from them when they were trainees. That's why we can feel their spirits like freedom and passion through their live performance. I think this is also why people often compliment them as a "2nd-gen Kpop group." I wish PD will react to that Zip Daesung episode next month.

2025-01-13 03:15:34 +0000 UTCYou finally mentioned GD!!! This is how I felt after watching about 10 stages Taesan performed in 2023. It's even more obvious in his "Violin" stage in 2024 fan meeting. He does have a special character and pronunciation when performing. This is why I look forward to his solo album the most and believe Boynextdoor will be huge in the future. 2025-01-13 03:02:58 +0000 UTCThey don't have set positions if I'm not wrong so they often change up their vocal/rap distribution to give us "unexpected" combinations and I think that's something that really sets them apart and give them more variety These guys are just so talented and I don't know, I saw someone say that bonedo's music is kitsch in the best way possible and I totally see it, especially knowing of the guys' musical inspirations

I think thatβs also why heβs so free in stage, the same with most of boynextdoor but greatly on taesan. They have that confidence so they are more free on stage now
