Seeing Gong Yoo in this role again after watching The Trunk was kinda wild, cause the roles are such opposite. His range is insane lol Also, The Trunk is a show I think PD would enjoy purely just because of the cinematography (Gong Yoo's a plus). I think it is visually my favorite drama to come out in a while! Plus it's only 8 episodes, which was great for my short attention span with dramas

The two russian roulette scenes also belong to my favourite moments of this season. The suspense, the cinematography and the music are just insane and it's so well executed by the actors.

2025-01-06 22:02:38 +0000 UTCFunny thing about me and Lee Byung Hun in the first season. I am not that much familiar with the Korean acting scene, but there are two actors I recognite immediately. Kim Taeri & Lee Byung Hun and right before I watched Squid Game, I saw Mister Sunshine and since he plays the “Korean American character” there, I immediately thought the Front Man in Squid Game might be him right after I heard him speaking English 😅😅 Regarding this episode… I agree with you top to bottom. The games were entertaining, but I appreciated the human aspect of it to the same (or even bigger) level, therefore I liked this start of the second season a lot, but I cannot deny I cannot wait for the games, because I want to see THANOS in action!!
