2024-11-27 20:24:37 +0000 UTCugh, as a kiss of life defense attorney im such a sucker for groups with all different vocal textures/tones etc. i wasn’t super into their debut but they somehow got me to like toxic when i usually feel super meh toward slow, ballad sounding heartbreak songs. i might get to know them a bit more now 😗

2024-11-27 14:43:31 +0000 UTCAlthough I like this song way more than Meow, it still feels like as if The Black Label wanted them to be a global/US Kpop group rather that “Kpop Kpop” group. BUT!! Their b-side Body made me think they might lean on the Kpop Kpop side too + with listening to Body I started to appreciate Toxic too and after their MAMA stage I can tell I am slowly starting to get into them and I might get what the vision for this group is.

Body is probably going to be performed more at the awards and end-of-year shows, but I'm still glad they chose it as a title track. When you check out the performance for Body, I would watch the Studio Choom one before the official performance video. I find SC one better and that's how they came out as well.
