Aww...why is Jin's "Astronaut" video set to Private? I was looking forward to seeing it.

2024-10-08 08:11:32 +0000 UTCLove jin and love coldplay. Coldplay wrote the initial song and gave it to jin before he went into the military and jin added some lyrics and worked on the korean. So it isn't a cover. More of an unofficial collaboration. Check out epiphany live at wembley. He will also be dropping his first solo album soon.

2024-10-06 02:30:57 +0000 UTCI looked it up and it was actually Coldplay that did an english cover of The Astronaut last year, Jin's song came out in 2022. They still performed both My Universe and The Astronaut and gave shoutouts to BTS and Jin since then and even recently Chris was asked in an interview if they plan to release more collabs with korean artists and he said their friends in BTS are still in the military so they have to wait for them to come back to know. Maybe check out My Universe as well as the short documentary they made for the recording process, it's a must and very beautiful to see.

2024-10-05 12:50:09 +0000 UTCThe Astronaut is not a Coldplay song, it's Jin's official solo debut single and the song is about ARMY. Jin asked Coldplay (BTS and Coldplay had a song before called My Universe, so they are friends) to produce his solo song and he wrote the korean lyrics. It's Jin's song for ARMY to say goodbye before going into the military. When he came back this year he did BTS' Festa alone the day after being discharged and he came to the stage riding a bike to show that he came back to ARMY. Idk why you think this is a Coldplay song ahaha! Jin asked Coldplay to have him as a guest because he was going into the military and wanted to perform for ARMY once at least and of course they said yes.
