Rendering! 😦
Added 2026-01-01 16:44:49 +0000 UTCHappy new year! The POV animation is currently rendering. It's taking about 50 seconds per frame, and at 2000 frames that's almost a day and a half! Listening to my computer is like listening to the waves - it's equally stressful and relaxing. Sadly my internal SSD got fried a few days back (>3600 media and data integrity errors, failing available spares, 11% usage at 18 months old, most likely just faulty hardware). I've had to move my system to an external SSD, which is surprisingly fast for what it is but it's not optimal for this stage. This kind of rendering would usually take 6 hours. I'm sure you all know that I'm not one to make excuses 👀 but this animation was supposed to be ready yeserday. When it's posted tomorrow, I will cater to those that have supported for the past two months, so if you've unsubbed you'll get the animation, and I'll figure it all out after posting ❤️

It's a higher frame rate and improved physics. The original fps in particular was too low.

What I usually do after subscribing is remove my payment method to avoid any charges, but I leave the subscription active (because it's a purchase) but going into December, Pixiv cancelled my subscription because I had removed my payment method, and honestly, it was kind of annoying At first I thought it was Pixiv's mistake, but no, it was mine and I never knew. I had already paid for the month, but they cancelled it. I hope I at least receive this animation and then subscribe again.
