Oh, there is a Tiny Desk Korea too, just starting out. 'Begin Again' is also one of my faves. It's a busking/travel show. Good ones are 2nd half of Season 2, Seasons 3 & 4. In S3, Taeyeon & her group went to Germany & Netherlands, while in S2.5 & also in S3, Suhyun (AKMU) & her group were in Portugal, Hungary & Italy. In S4 they traveled only around SK bc of Covid but legends Sohyang & Lee Sora came on. Still running now (Ailee, Solar guested) but I hope when they go back to busking overseas, Wendy is free & gets to join. 😁

Leemujin Service is a pun on "limousine service," hence the set design, & 서비스/"sebiseu" is informal in SK restos/bars for "on the house"/"complimentary" so he talks of "live service." It's kinda unique bc the host is a singer too so he can talk shop & sometimes he asks guests to sing a verse impromptu. Looks like most 4th gen idol vocalists have been on there & a few of the older ones. Sohyang is prob to SK what Houston/Carey is to US & Apink's Eunji is like the most proficient gg vocalist active rn. In 4th gen, Lily & Haewon of Nmixx are strong singers. (I'm partial to gg's but there's Exo D.O, Btob Changsub, SGW Seokhoon too.) Sadly, Wheein & Taeng havent come on for their new albums. Or Ailee/Solar. (Hyolyn for Sistar subunit comeback maybe?) Wendy & Taeyeon are the best female vocalists in SM rn. (Debuting btwn them was Luna of f(x), prob the best fem vocalist to ever come out of SM but she left; she's from a family of classical singers.) Taeng is a veteran soloist (3 full albums, 6 minis) but Wendy's just starting out w 1 mini. (But her ost/collab/non-SM singles run the gamut from piano pop to bossa nova to soft rock). She's more of a vocal chameleon (e.g. plays w her timbre a lot) than a diva who bends the song to her will, but it's prob bc she hasn't found her confidence yet. She has insane work ethic & is known to be modest & to take care of those arnd her, esp staff. Many stories of thoughtfulness & generosity. /end Wendy shilling 😅
