Patreon's New Tax Clause (Important)

Due to countries' new understandings regarding online content, Patreon had to abide by governments' demands of clearer taxation. Starting from July, some patrons will be asked to pay an extra percentage on top of their pledge, based on where they live (more details below).

I will be decreasing my top-tier price from 5$ to 4.75$ in response to that. The problem is, Patreon does not allow me to change the price of a tier after it's populated with Patrons - so I will make a new Exotic Idol (New) Tier and direct all Exotic Idol Tier content there. I'm not able to divert my Patrons to the new tier, you have to migrate to the lower tier yourself. I'll still keep Exotic Idol tier for some while because I understand it might take some of my patrons a while to carry out the migration. I'll make sure to send appropriate direct messages after the Tier is up.

Migrating to 4.75$ from the 5$ Tier will yield no extra cost so you can do it whenever once it's up. I'll be sending mass-private messages once the tier is ready.

I know that .25$ decrease in my top tier does not quite make up for the difference for most of these regions, but I'm doing all I can. Meanwhile, please do not forget that I have Goals based on Patron count, with promises of decreasing the top-tier price to even lower prices. I'm very close to hitting 300 but for a long time now, I get so close without passing that benchmark. It might prove helpful to urge some friends to hop along and make the campaign a little more affordable for everybody.

I hope to prove myself as a good and worthy creator for your support, and I find the due diligence necessary. Although price-fixing based on tax concerns is apparently illegal in the US (Patreon's own statement makes note of that), since I don't live in the US, fuck that, lmao. Don't feel bad about other creators not following the same route as I do, I only do it because I'm able to do it.
