Nice Lick: Let's Learn It 10
Added 2019-10-11 11:01:28 +0000 UTCMorning patrons. I have a Nice Lick for you today. As usual, I think understanding the concept behind the lick is just as important as learning the lick itself. This one is all about using arpeggios to outline a chord whilst ascending the fretboard using slides. I've tabbed it all out below. I've included some picking markings to show how I would pick the lick, but it's not the only way to do it, so feel free to experiment. Here's the link to the video:
For future videos in the Nice Lick series I was thinking about opening it up a bit, and looking at other people's licks. Suggestions are welcome. Just needs to be an interesting and reasonably concise phrase. Could be something from a song or solo, or something you've seen someone doing on YouTube. A famous player or somebody unknown. Any style. Just has to be Nice!
