BARRACUDA SOLUTION
Added 2025-08-01 07:18:17 +0000 UTCI'm hoping to get a video out by Saturday, in an effort to remain on some form of upload schedule. Sadly, this means probably no time for early access, so here's one of my favorite bits from the video, which is about making sulfur trioxide/oleum and a devastating new form of piranha solution!
Regular piranha solution is made by mixing 30% hydrogen peroxide and 98% sulfuric acid, and it does a pretty good job eating most organic materials. For this video though, I made it with 65% oleum (165% sulfuric acid) and 50% hydrogen peroxide. The result? An unstable mix of pure hydrogen peroxide, pure sulfuric acid, and sulfur trioxide, which is just as terrifying as it sounds. In the video above, you can see the impact a few drops has on a pile of sugar...it's clearly faster and angrier than regular piranha solution, which is why I've decided to name my mixture BARRACUDA SOLUTION!
